Im new to the world of portable GPS communicators, but i have to say, the out of the box ease of use of this device is really pleasing to navigate. I was able to see exactly where my family and I were driving along the Seward Highway in south Alaska with no issues or additional downloads. We were able to see the streams, river crossings and lake easily and chart out course much better than roughing it through the snow with a compas and map. I’m happy I purchased this and will likely get one for my wife soon!
