The unit comes setup nicely with good features, the updates took about an hour and was easy. The friction mount sits on my flat surface dash and stays in place in my Toyota Prius C. I've had (3) GPS units and this is the best. It's great when it tells you the street names ahead, posted speed limits, your speed and when you are speeding. I actually watch this unit more than my speedometer in the vehicle. it shows your elevation, closest Police , Hospital and location in an emergency. If you are skeptical of a GPS as a distraction this unit will dismiss your fears.

This was a gift for my 17 year old daughter. It was easy to setup and very easy for her to use. It is great that it comes with lifetime map updates. You can not go wrong with a Garmin. This is our families 3rd one.

I upgraded from a Garmin model Nuvi 250 that I purchased about 6 years ago. Unfortunately at that time Garmin only gave you 1 map update. This unit comes with unlimited updates. I purchased this package becuase it came with both the suction cup and dash mounts. I had trouble with my previous unit in that the suction cup was not strong enough and the unit kept falling down. This one has a large screen and better graphics. I recommend this item.

I was impressed on how easy this is to set up and use. I bought the dash mount which really helps putting in on the dash. the features are are just like a built in unit at a fraction of the cost and you not have to pay for updates from the car company.

You'll need to update the maps before using, other than that is a no hassle straight forward way to find your way to a rarely visited relatives home or a totally new destination; but once you get there don't put it away it can help you find restaurants, gas stations, hospitals and even places you didn't know you wanted to go. I love my Garmin; it has saved me time and frustration.

I just moved to a new city and it's been very helpful getting from one place to another....wonderful GPS.

That's my second GPS and absolutely happy with it. Easy use, big screen, can't beat the price either.

I like the large display, and split screen feature when you are approaching your exits. the lifetime maps are a very nice feature, I am able to stay current with the roads I travel.

it's easy to read let's you know the speed limit for the road your driving on, that's great, and the dashboard mount is very secure no matter where you place it.

Came as a combo kit which included everything needed to start using right away. And was able to use preinstalled set up in my car from previous garmin that was stolen.Easy to set up! Love the lifetime maps.

I had a difficult time the first time I tried to program "my home" and any destinations in my State since it is initially set to another state. You must first tell the GPS which state you are going to program for the destination before you enter the destination. After you get the inital "hang of it", everything is very simple and for a 60 year old, simple is good. If there are any "red light cameras" it will tell you in advance. I prefer this one over my "built in "GPS" in my expensive vehicle.

Bought this product recently and am very much satisfied. One of the nicest GPS having almost all the features.
