Tactix 8
Went from the Instinct 2X Solar Tactical Edition to the Tactix 8. Slightly bigger in size but looks like a profesional watch for both meetings and for daily use. Has a few more data measurements and the ability to log rucking as well. Battery life is just as good as before but I also now have a touch screen that makes inputting things more easier. Super happy I made the jump up!

Great Watch
This is an awesome watch! Huge upgrade from my previous watch, Tactix Delta. My only HUGE complaint is the “Sleep Focus Mode.” The watch makes you enter a time where you go to bed and wake up. From those specified times, the watch wont function to its full capabilities. You can change the times but there is NOT an option to completely turn off the “Sleep Focus Mode.” From my understanding this watch is targeted towards LE/Emergency Services and Military. Anyone in those fields knows your sleep schedule is rarely consistent. You can have a call out at anytime, resulting in 14+ hours days. Last thing anyone wants to worry about is your watch going into “Sleep Focus” Mode and not being able to use your watch to its full functions while on DUTY. There needs to be a way to turn this function OFF. I understand having a consistent sleep schedule is important but most in LE/Emergency Services and Military Career Fields don't. As of now, I found a work around but still disappointed how this option was overlooked. Other than the “Sleep Focus” Mode Function, this is a GREAT WATCH.
