A: yes you can. it has 2 disks that allow you to grate or slice cheese. its medium and fine settings.

Q: Will this food processor grind bones?
A: I haven't tried to grind bones, however, I can well imagine that if they were thoroughly dried you could. It's a nice and powerful machine with good blades. I'm going to assume you need to grind bones for some sort of calcium supplement or composting.
