A: It probably won't fit another brand. I tried to use it with a Broan hood, but it would not fit properly and I had to purchase a GE hood. I'm not aware of a video but the instructions that come with it are clear. Really just two screws and a piece of wood (which you need to supply) to use a backer against the wall.
