If you are looking for a freezer for the garage, really consider this freezer. There is plenty of space and runs quiet. A lock on the door provides safety. The reviews online gave this a high rating compared to other models and brands. I did have a month and a half back order on receiving it but it was worth it.

My parents purchased this as a birthday present for me based on the experience they have with their own. After a week of monitoring the temperature we decided to fill it up. The temperature has stayed consistent with where it is set, even through a 3 hour power outage. I would recommend this freezer to anyone looking for a high quality upright. It holds its temperature, has a strong seal, and has a door lock (useful if you have children who forget to close it).

I haven’t owned it but for a short while but so far I like it. The freezer is spacious and organization is easy. I like the drawers and the door shelving. The freezer is well lit and runs quietly. I would buy it again. The only negative thing that I can say is that there was a dent on the lower back side when I unboxed it. It had to come from the factory that way because the packaging was not damaged. Appears to be just cosmetic.The delivery people were excellent, professional and friendly.

Nicely made freezer with lots of space. Love the drawers, helps to keep the items more organized. It is a nice size too, with easy to use features.

Replaced an old GE freezer that had died after many years of service. Just the right size for my needs. Easy to set up, quiet, seems efficient and keeps the frozen food at the right temperature. Appears well made. Is quite and I like the temperature indicator on the outside of the unit. Some of the inner shelving is a little awkward but just my opinion. Still very functional and hold a good deal of frozen food. Took many months to receive after ordering but that was not the fault of Best Buy as every appliance was taking a long time to receive due to the pandemic.

Pretty amazing plenty of room for storage has awesome drawers to keep stuff divided and freezes really fast!

The freezer was a perfect fit. It is quiet and energy star rated. Frost free and LED lighting. It works great

I love that this is super spacious and upright. A big bulk trip to costco can still have room for more. I can have 6 sacks of ice and still put in boxes of frozen food in the freezer. Door shelves are a saver for small items. The drawers are very helpful for organizing smaller frozen items.

Awesome garage freezer! Turbo freeze, lock, and alarm all extremely useful. Holds a ton of food, and frost free unlike my chest freezers is wonderful. Shopped the HE** out of feeezers, and this is definitely the best in the sub 1000 market.

Work great! Lots of room, adjustable shelves, drawers slide easily. Lock works well. Happy with purchase!

We love our new GE garage-ready freezer. It keeps a constant zero temperature and is very quiet. The door shuts tight, which is a real plus. I feel sure we will get many years of service from this freezer.

This freezer stores a lot of food effectively and it really does not frost. The door temperature gauge is very helpful too.

I am very happy with this Freezer. It sits in a very hot garage, and I am in and out of it several times a day. Only time will tell how well it holds up. Right now, it is doing great.

There is a ton of room inside this freezer and it’s lay out allows you to use all of it. I got this one because it has a alarm, and because my teenage left it open it saved me hundreds of dollars in meat we had stocked up on. It was a great buy, just watch for the sales.

The one problem was the delivery date was delayed twice. Very frustrating. When I purchased it, I indicated that that my current unit was malfunctioning and had almost totally defrosted my full freezer 3 times! There seemed to be no urgency in getting my new unit.

I absolutely love this freezer. It is a great value for the money I spent and it has worked like a charm. I would highly recommend.

So far, freezer works well, needs a good pull to get it open but I suppose that means the seal is good. Delivery was delayed an additional two weeks after original delivery date to what I assume was a back order from GE. Delivery itself was great, the guys brought the freezer around back to our basement without issue and were quick and cleaned up before leaving.

Just got the freezer and it works great. I like the temperature setting display on the door. The freezer is also quiet.

I am very happy with my new freezer. My previous GE freezer stop working after 20 plus years and I loved it. The only disappointment I have is the 19 and 20 cu.ft. Upright Freezers where not available. I recommend the freezer’s warning bell be a little louder. I am a happy GE Upright Freezer owner.

So far so good. I am enjoying the added room of this freezer compared to my last one.
