A simple, cool AC for the bedroom, which is 12’x12’. Installation is easy using my existing in-wall unit. Getting the broken unit out was the hard part. Although the dimension was different, the unit still fit within the opening due to its compact size. Just needed to resize the framing after reinforcing unit in wall. Cools room fast and simple yet efficient controls with remote lets me operate it anywhere in the room. The price was another reason and GE brand is an established name.

This checks off all the boxes. Was easy to install in standard window. the sound level is so must better than my old unit, I can now hear my TV with out having to turn the volume up. Cools my living room with catherdal ceiling. This unit has WiFi and the App. to control is very user friendly. It even shows you your estimanted energy usage per day.

This GE window air conditioner is perfect for a bedroom or a small home office. It cools down the space incredibly fast and maintains a comfortable temperature without any issues. The installation process was straightforward, and it fits securely in the window frame. For a 6000 BTU unit, it has great airflow and the controls are very intuitive. It’s exactly what I needed to keep my space comfortable during the hot summer months. Great value for the price!

My bedroom is 168 sq ft. This does the trick perfectly. As a matter of fact i get cold at night from it. So i end up usijg the fan. Window a.c's use way less power than portable air conditioners. This price was awesome. Its very light and very easy to install.

Although the one that this unit replaces still works well, this one draws less than half the power of the older one. The old GE 7k btu from the 1970's draws 10.2 amps, the new 6k btu one draws 4.2 amps., and it has the added plus of a remote control. With the cost of power, I figure it'll pay for itself over time. I will say, I bought the last one that they had at the time, and when I unpacked it at home, the case was slightly bent. I decided to live with it, and straighten it out myself. It was that, or wait until they got more in, take it back, get a replacement, all when it was 102 deg. in the shade. The damage didn't affect how it worked, and it does works great! The install was pretty easy and the included instructions are pretty clear. Everything is really thin and lightweight, but it does the job. Would I buy it again? Yes. We had bought the same make/model a year prior for our son's room, and because it works so well, that's why I bought another. The one thing I don't like, is that the louvers that slightly direct the air flow, only go left/right with no up/down option. Other than that, I'm pleased.

Noise level is low, cooling is exceptional for small to moderate size rooms. Also the cord is long and feels better quality. 100 % recommended.

This little ac really cools! It’s in our living room/dining room space and cools the space down very quickly, even set at 74 it keeps the space at 72. It also run much quieter than our previous unit, easy to still hear the tv and each other talk with no problem. We are very happy with this purchase and highly recommend!

Its honestly great for my tiny single floor home. I have a devider splitting the rooms from the living room so it hdeff helps keep it nice and cool on the living room wich is where i stay and keeps the kitchen cool enough aswell

I love this thing. I live in a singular bedroom on the second floor of an old house, said old house doesn't have central and the insulation here is an actual joke. And I have those stupid old windows with the weights that can just throw your window at any moment. I had some help putting a mount in but honestly was willing to pay for a new window if it meant it could hold this AC, since summer is actually miserable up here. My room, and apartment in general, is always hotter than outside. Plus I only have two outlets to work with so with all of the extension cords and chaos I'd like heat of all things to not be the problem. This little AC kicks the monent you hit power, and it stays true enough to its word when its on eco - like no, it will in fact not suddenly stop for any reason until this room is out of the 80s much less a fair distance away from 75. I needed a mount and some insulation to stick here and there but well worth it for this machine to be able to work the way it does in a house like this. Love it.

I've been using this AC here in NYC, and I gotta say that I love it. I had someone install it for me, and it was ready to go in less than 15–30 minutes. It cools the room quite well; however, I also recommend using a fan to help the air circulate, depending on your room's configuration. I personally don't care for the noise level. It hasn't bothered me, and I generally am able to tune it out (if any). This is my first time with an AC in all my years of living in NYC. The price of this is also very, very good. Very competitive price, and it works quite well. I would highly recommend to anybody.

Our old bedroom air conditioner died right in the middle of the most recent heat wave! It was a challenge to find one that was available for pick up that day. So happy to find this GE that had great reviews available at Best Buy. My husband had it installed quickly and it has been wonderful! Were very pleased with our purcase!

Love the look, the sound, everything about this AC, I do just wish I got the higher functioning BTU. In my ~400 sf apartment I am only getting down to 76 on a 95 day. Not bad, but I need more. Don’t cheap yourself out,

Replaced a 15+ year unit with this one. its very quit on low, the cooling is awesome, feels like an icebox! i think i like med fan speed best mix of quit and air movement.
