This is a great fridge and my wife and I ahve been happy with the purchase. The Best Buy sales person was wonderful and answered all our questions and made the process easy, delivery was timely and well done. The fridge is stainless steel but with black top and sides which better match my existing Black appliances (that will be replaced with stainless when the time comes). My old fridge had a small trap door and his one has the door in door which allows quick access to more items. The space for water and ice is much taller than my last fridge which allows for easy filling of even large water bottles which is a bit plus. The ergonomics of the fridge are nice. My only two quirks are: - You mush open both doors to pull out the large drawer at the bottom of the fridge. - If you are using the water dispenser and open the other side of the fridge, the water stops.

I have the slate color and it is great. Inside is very roomy, although I wish I could make a space taller, without removing an entire shelf. Hubby has a tough time reading the Water vs Ice on the digital display, so he simply has to memorize which is in each spot. It doesn't light up. I totally love the fridge

Although our other appliances (from our builder) are Whirlpool, I wanted a door-in-door so I chose GE. I thought I was ordering a GE Profile (which had been out of stock) that has the measured fill water dispenser (8 oz at a time), but I was so excited when the Best Buy salesman said the GE was in stock, that I grabbed it, not realizing I didn't tell him the GE Profile. But It is a great fridge, and I moved the shelves up and down to suit my tall wine bottles. The door-on-door is a must - so much easier to access the condiments and bottled drinks on the door. The little "lazy susan" on the door-on-door is a neat feature as well. Best Buy delivered it exactly when they said they would, and we had our fridge, washer and dryer the same day we closed on our new house. FANTASTIC!

During Covid 19 we had a broken refrigerator in the garage and replaced it with this! The service of the Myrtle Beach staff was supportive and superior to anything I’ve ever purchased from home. Great price, great delivery guys with masks in 100 degree weather and would not take them off even though I asked. The Refrigerator is great for what I needed as my second one with a big family. Not one problem, works great! and nice looking.

This Platinum Glass French Door Refrigerator is beautiful and has great additional features such as the separate freezer or fridge drawer you can choose how to use. The extra space is a good upgrade along with the sleek Cooper trim inside

Cons: The water and ice dispenser are both mess makers. The water dispenser drips a bit after you take away your cup. The ice dispenser is just badly designed - It has no actual chute or funnel to help direct the ice, especially if you choose to get crushed ice. I actually found this amazing solution for that though! Just search on google “GE Ice Chute Adapter” or go directly to the site "Etsy". No more ice all over the drip tray or floor!! Pros: The finish is beautiful and it goes great with my black appliances. Very easy to wipe clean with a damp microfiber towel. The inside of the fridge and freezer are both very spacious. The LED lights make a huge difference and really brighten the interior and make it easy to find stuff. I actually love the door in door feature. It's not as gimmicky as I thought it would be. This fridge uses a charcoal filter for the water which is definitely better than my hard water in AZ. Ice is made pretty quickly and tastes just fine. I personally don't like the taste of the charcoal water so I just use the water for cooking and making tea. The only noise I hear from this fridge is when new ice is made and it drops down. Honestly, this fridge is silent otherwise. Before this, I had a 20 year old Amada fridge that was terribly loud and it would randomly knock so abruptly, it scared me at night.

Overall, this refrigerator is fantastic. It has a lot of room and everything works exactly as it should. See the pros and cons below for more details. GE seems to make great refrigerators, this is now my second GE in a row and probably will not be my last from what I have seen so far. After getting and using this refrigerator, I learned that my in-laws have the same one - they also love it and have had no complaints. Pros: -All of the drawers roll out really well without getting caught -The door-in-door is a great feature -The freezer is spacious enough and has good storage compartments to separate meat, vegetable, etc. -The ice maker works great, crushes ice very well too -Has a door alarm that sounds if it is left open by accident -Easy to set temperatures for the fridge and freezer. Cons: -The water filter does not have off-brand options. It has a chip in it that will stop it from working if the chip is not present. -The motor is occasionally louder than I would prefer, but not terribly so.

Purchased for the size and because the sales person hyped it up. I'm guessing there was a spiff involved on her part. I have been unhappy with this purchase from day 1. The refrigerator temp stayed above 40 degrees even when on the coldest setting. It was replaced with a different refrigerator shortly after the initial purchase. The temp in the replacement stays close to 40 no matter what the temperature is set at. We used more than one thermometer and tested in the spare refrigerator to make sure it was the fridge and not the thermometer. The ice jams in the dispenser and there is always ice build up around the edges of the container. The replacement unit had to be serviced at just under 1 year because there was so much ice building up on the freezer track that it wouldn't close. It it loud. Limited door storage on the ice maker side and sometimes it is difficult to get the refrigerator doors to properly close. I constantly receive mail solicitation from GE to purchase their water filter that is double the cost of other filters and if you use an after market, the indicator stays on. You get 1 glass of chilled water before it turns to room temp. Not worth the price tag and If I had it to do over again I would NOT purchase this refrigerator. Pros: looks nice, good freezer space.

Week 1 and we absolutely love yhis refrigerator. Simple, elegant, and large storage capacity yet fit exactly in space of our older GE refrigerator (they have trimmed the extra space and optimized cubic capacity on this model for sure). The front door in door option is awesome and a must for wuick milk, beer, or soda access without opening main french doors. Interestingly i read a few reviews which mentioned this as a more “noisy model” yet i have not noticed this at all. Cassidy hums and makes noise during ice making but very minor and definitely should not be considered as noisy (only week 1 though). Ice and water tastes great, sophisticated filter and bettef than older GE we had. It is a bit pricey but elegant design, and french door w door in door option and ice:water dispenser makes it well worth buy. Ice maker is also easy to access and interior led light is luxurious. Lastly Beat Buy delivery was on target professional and refrigerator came in perfect condition heavily packaged from GE. Definitely choose Best Buy over Home Depot (our last 2 appliances from Home Depot terrible delivery and they broke a part of our kitchen wood cabinet and Home Depot refused to take ownership of fault. Thanks Best Buy and we love this fridge.

I've had this refrigerator about a month now and I like it. My previous fridge was a GE Profile side by side model which I had for 13 years before the door functions spazzed out. It's now in my garage and the new fridge is in my kitchen. It's taking me a while to get used to the French door configuration and I keep habitually opening just the right door and then realize the item I needed was actually on the left side. I think the door in door feature is pretty cool. It makes it pretty quick and convenient to quickly grab condiments or creamers without opening the entire door. I assume this would limit the amount of cold air from escaping although I saw some testing online that seems to contradict this. strange. Anyway, I have to agree with some of the other reviewers that this fridge is noisier than my previous fridge. For my home this isn't a problem because it's not near enough from where we sleep or watch TV to make a difference. When we're hanging out in or near the kitchen we're usually talking and making plenty of noise anyway and we can't hear the fridge. I only notice it when it's quiet and I'm in the kitchen. Now for the great service part. I needed this fridge in a hurry and Best Buy had Sunday delivery available so I wouldn't have to miss work when it was delivered. The delivery guys were excellent. They were fast, efficient, and respectful. I received multiple emails and texts letting me know the status of the delivery and they were right on time. Overall I would probably buy this refrigerator again.

It has taken awhile to adjust to a french door configuration after having a side-by-side but I feel I can see & access my fresh foods better. The freezer is big and deep so I haven't quite figured out how to organize that yet but the smaller drawers are great for things I use often. Love the convenience of just opening part of the door to get my creamer, butter and milk.

This refrigerator was so worth it!! On top of loving this matte black color the anti fingerprint is EVERYTHING!! Especially when you have kids! I leaned mostly to this refrigerator bc of the color and the door in door feature. Even though it’s the older model the newer model doesn’t have the door in door option, which I love to put the juices and milk we use most! Their is so much space in both the top refrigerator and the bottom freezer. My only complaint is in the compartments on the left door. They’r pretty small, not all condiments/dressings really fit. They have to be small or thin to go in the door storage. Overall love this refrigerator!

After months of reading reviews, I finally went with a GE fridge. Pros: I love how spacious it is. I saw complaints about it being loud, but I think my definition of loud is different from others. Our last fridge sounded like bolts grinding in a disposable whenever the ice machine came on. The only noise this one makes is the cute melody whenever someone didn’t close the door all the way. And the water and ice dispenser is wide enough to fill a deep pot or those jugs that attach to your animal’s water bowl. Con: it does spit the ice at you. So just make sure to cover the opening completely with the cup or your hand. Note: our fridge is filter by our reversed osmosis. To bypass the fridge’s filter you’ll need a plug, otherwise the water comes out painfully slow. To get one, call GE. They’ll send you the bypass plug for free.

This has been a great refrigerator. Love the turbo cool feature in fridge and freezer, space in doors, adjustable shelves and ease of cleaning. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is that it is a bit noisy and the ice chute gets blocked from time to time.

The GE - 27.8 Cu. Ft Refrigerator has been a great addition. The stainless steel is nice. The inside is spacious and has a lot of drawers to allow for separating meats, veggies and dairy. The fridge is a bit more noisy but after a month, we no longer notice the slight humming from the fridge. Its like our white noise. The ice dispenser is easy to access and hold enough ice our our family. There is no cover over the dispenser area so ice does fall on the ground if you are not paying attention. All in all this is a beautiful spacious fridge.

At first sight we loved it because of its sleek look and the freezer storage were nice...but the shelves are too small. Can barely fit anything had to remove one completely. the water is just a trickle, ice takes almost 8 hours for 100 cubes.... if i had known this i wouldnt have bought it.
