A: If this fridge has showcase lighting, look really carefully at each light. One will probably be more dim than the rest and slightly flickering. Order a replacement for about $26. Pop out the old one, unsnap it from harness, and put in new one - easy fix! It’s seems that is is kind of like the annoying Christmas lights that turn off when one bulb is bad. Everything we read online said it was control board….nope! Cheap and do-it-yourself. if you have a white surround in your fridge, order the cheaper silver color and switch out the new part for the old. It should be the same part number and will work.
Q: Does this model have a removable ice bucket in the door?
A: Hello Linda, This is Joyce from GE Appliances. I will be happy to help! This model has the ice bucket in the left hand door. Pull up and out on the ice bucket to remove it from the compartment. To replace the ice bucket, set it on the guide brackets and push until the ice bucket seats properly. Q: Is this stainless "smudge resistant?"
A: I would say no. I would call it a true stainless steel surface where you will see smudges and fingerprints. The Method brand stainless steel cleaner that I buy works really well. I use it once a week on all of my stainless appliances.
Q: What is the difference between a frost free refrigerator and an automatic defrost one?

Very spacious, well lit Black Slate fridge.
This was the exact fridge I wanted. Other vendors did not have it in stock because of the color. I did not want stainless steel. This fridge has the dual ice maker capability. Everything is very well lit and the two produce drawers are higher up, which my husband loves. It makes it easier to see what is in them. The only thing I do not like about it is on the left side door, the racks are very narrow. Still figuring out things to fit in there. So far the skinny small sesame oil bottles fit, some spice jars. But the right door makes up for it, holding large items, including juice and milk. The color of the front looks like a dark black led and the sides are a darker more matte black. Also on the front ice/water panel, the words " water/ crushed /cubed" dont light up even if you press light. But we have just memorized the settings (for nighttime use)

I like the look of the refrigerator.
The refrigerator has plenty of space inside. The ice maker capacity is small.
