Q: WOULD THIS BE A GOOD REPLACEMENT FOR AN 27' OLD MODEL JKP27BOW?
A: My old GE oven was 27 inches wide, too. Had to adjust the sides 1/8th inch and move the shelf up one inch to fit in the same cabinet. GE fit guarrantee would help if you have to make adjustments.

Q: Doesn't a broiler pan come with this oven ?
A: No, it does not
Q: The oven does not hold the temperature it shows
A: Oven elements will cycle on and off throughout the bake cycle to maintain the set temperature. When the oven temperature has dropped below the set temperature, the oven cycles on again to provide heat. The oven will cycle off again once the temperature is higher than the set temperature. The goal is to maintain an average set temperature but you will see a normal rise and fall in temperatures throughout the cycle. This is the normal design of ovens and is factored into how recipes are created and used. GE - 27 " Built- In Double Electric Wall Oven
Purchased this double wall oven to replace a 24+ year old one that was having issues. The oven is very easy to use and controls both ovens effectively. Gave it an overall rating of 4 based on Quality issues. If you look at the picture of the oven rack, the racks have a dark coating with white speckles. Looking at the back of the rack, there are two spots on the back of the rack that are not coated. This is on all four racks in the same general location. Looked at GE oven at several other retailers and the racks have the same issue in the same general location. This looks like a generic issue with the rack coating process at the supplier. The racks are probably suspended at those points during the coating application and curing process. That would result in those points not getting coated.

Love this oven
Love my double oven. Perfect addition to our kitchen. Not sure how I ever lived without it. Amazing to be able to cook multiple items simultaneously.
