After re-designing our laundry area, we ended up with a small room for washer/dryer/utility sink. We had front-loaders and decided to go stacked, but stacked front loaders still took up too much space so we went with the Laundry Center. Love it. It's 3.8cu ft vs about 4.5 with front loaders...no big deal. It handled queen comforter. It is a little loud is my only issue. The dryer is fantastic. The cycles of both machines are about the same amount of time, so you can just keep adding loads without much waiting for the dry to open up. Love it.

This is a sturdy & large-volume unit, and it's nice to have a color option other than basic white for people who only have one 220 outlet and a compact laundry space. The washer spin cycle seems especially long, while the dryer cycles are fast and efficient. I can already think of a few improvements: The installers mentioned that some laundry centers allow the venting duct to project from the side, in order to maximize the available space behind the unit. Because this model only allows for it to go straight out the back, it was very hard to fit into our compact condo space... and the duct has already come loose as a result. Why can't manufacturers of these units create an accessory that allows for a tight-space option to the usual large venting duct? Second, the control dial for the dryer cycles is very tight... unnecessarily so. It feels like it's not going to last very long, because it doesn't turn smoothly and easily. I was surprised that it isn't better crafted, with "clicks" to move easily to each cycle. It feels like we have to fight with it to turn it to our preferred selection. Very odd. Finally, the washer makes some odd noises while in the fill cycle. And some of the finish work on the interior plastic pieces could be better - a lot of sharp edges were left on the top of the agitator.

New larger size washer and dryer. Easier to wash king size sheets and other large bulky items in one load. Stackable saves so much room and don't notice any difference between this and a regular side by side W/D. Only complaint is the washer makes a noise that sounds like geese when the agitator runs. Will follow up up on that with GE.

Good size, does the job. The washer can be a bit noisy but it’s not terribly loud. The dryer works very well, really efficient, and the filter screen is extremely easy to take out, clean, and return.

Spacing saving laundry center. It fits perfectly in my master bathroom. Now I can do laundry within few steps. And it’s working very well. Love it.

The entire purchasing process went exceptionally well, from ordering to delivery and finally to setup by the Best Buy team! I could not be happier!! Both the washer and dryer do a terrific job. I don't find the washer noisy at all (an online complaint)!! And it fits perfectly in my utility room. These units are a big purchase so I was a little nervous about choosing the right unit, but you can't go wrong with a GE product.

The button and controls layout makes it all pretty much self-explanatory. The only thing the dryer does not have that I wish it did have was "timed dry" and an?"end of cycle" buzzer or tone. Other than that the stack unit works great. The washer has an impeller and gets the dirtiest work clothes clean. The size of the load is acceptable. Installation was easy enough and it also has good levelers. The wash yourself balances the load so the unit doesn't rock all over the place and spin cycle. I'm pretty happy with the unit and haven't had any problems out of it.

Nice set. Dryer is the absolute best! Washer is smaller than what I’m used to but it gets the job done. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because the washer tends to not equal the balance of the clothes and often knocks

So far, I am loving this new washer & dryer combo. It has a large capacity for both the washer & dryer and works great! I highly recommend this washer & dryer combo if you have limited space or just want to save space!

I love the compactness of this standard size washer and dryer. I also have these in my second home. They give you so much more room in your laundry room. Rhey work just as well as the regular size washer and dryer, easy to operate and easy to put your clothes in and take out. Im 5'3 and have no issues at all with the dryer

Very nice laundry center. I like that I can wash king size comforters in it. It’s not bulky and fits perfectly in my laundry room. It would be nice if the dryer had a buzzer or alarm to let me know that the laundry has finished.

This unit does an excellent job and we are very pleased with our purchase ! The tub is larger than that last unit we had so that was a great improvement.

It's great to hear that you're enjoying the performance from your unit! This washer will automatically measure the load size and add just the right amount of water, or you can choose your own. Love my space saving laundry unit. Per the other reviews its a little noisy but washes and dry really great. A dryer buzzer would be great, otherwise it was a great purchase.

Very nice unit. Very sturdy and plenty big enough to wash and dry large loads. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because it does not have a beep when the clothes are done. Will definately recommend.

I am in love with this laundry center. The tub for the washer and dryer are very large for the size of the entire unit. I don't notice the noise being a problem. It's not any louder than my frontload washer and dryer I had before. Installation was very simple as well. I am very happy with our purchase.
