I am happy to say that with its exhaust it is much easier to instal than a large window unit. Have never had an indoor air conditioner like this before. So far haven’t had to drain it due to the exhaust taking care of that perfectly after a week barely any water. Hearing about the older units that needed to be emptied every few hrs I was very skeptical about giving one these a try but now. I am never going back to a window unit again this thing cools a large apt w four rooms very well. I also had a 14000 btu air conditioner before this and hardly notice a difference if anyone is on the fence about buying one of these don’t hesitate it is much much easier to install than a heavy window unit

We bought this A/C during the hottest summer I remember having. So humid. We had moved into our new house and needed something for the living room. So, we had heard these portable a/c's worked well, it was on sale, so we tried it. It works very well. Instant cool down in the room. It actually works well for 2 rooms. It's not very loud, it is very easy to run and takes up minimal space. We are so happy with our purchase.

I use this for my living room during the summer. It runs about 500sqft in total, second floor above the basement it it keeps use nice and cool throughout the summer. Only down sides are that it is very loud, and because we are running it in a bigger room it be turned on before it gets hot.

Works well. A little small for the space i needed it for so on really hot days it doesnt get too cool but that is user error. Machine is a little loud though

Product was easy to set up and can be vented through different types of windows. Saved us from sweating to death when it was 100+ outside.

It works well and if you need to move it to a different room. It is a little loud but you get used to it.

I love the air conditioner. It’s very great in cooling the room, but it’s extremely loud which is why I took away a star.

The manual shows different installation pieces. The piece that is supposed to secure into the window is too short to fit my vertical window. I had to use the previous window attachment instead. This thing is very loud. It sounds like I'm taking off in an airplane. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to sleep through this noise! I spent less on a different portable AC unit 3 years ago; it was super quiet and was a 10,000 BTU. Also, online it's advertised as 8,500 BTU, but actually it's 8,100 according to the box and unit; see photo attached. Do better, Best Buy!

It blows cold air.. that part is GREAT! It is VERY loud. It's hard to sleep with it like that. We did have a leak the 1st 2 days, it was leaking

Good working unit. Be warned draws alot of power. Instructions not so clear you do not need to run a hose drain if exhausting out the window and using A/C mode. I cut up two new hoses for nothing!

It's pretty good does guzzle power but keeps the place cool

Very easy to set up. Very cold air. Works like a charm

Returned this as it was too cumbersome and had to have a hose to drain it that we did not realize. Pumped out almost 3 gallons of water in 4 hours. Bottom drain next to impossible to access and having a hose from the continuous drain to a bucket in the living room was ugly and had to be monitored constantly. Very disappointed and returned for credit on our card. Would be better suited in a basement where a drain was accessible. Acted more as just a dehumidifier than an air conditioner.
