cheap didn’t even last a year
Almost had this for 10 months and it cracked while boiling water under normal use on the front burner. Am now being told by GE service that it’s not covered under warranty and accused me of dropping something on it. I have no reason to lie. This is cheaply made if it cannot handle normal wear and tear. Well I am a mom to a large family and cook all day everyday but still it should not have cracked the way it did. I wouldn’t buy this again. I may not buy a GE again after my experience with their service technicians.

Excellent cooktop.
Excellent product. Easy to install, works great and no problems so far. Replaced another GE with touch pad controls because of eyesight issues.
