New GE top load washer works great. Just louder than what we’re used to. It’s a low end machine. We decided on it because we’re retired and don’t need all the bells and whistles that we had when we were a family of 5. Dryer also works great.

am very pleased with this GE washer. It is easy to operate, has a good capacity for family laundry, and the water level control is very helpful. I chose this model specifically because I had the same brand in a gas dryer and wanted both units to match. This unit has all the thrills of a standard washing machine which is all you really need.

This washer makes noise and vibration is aggressive during the spin cycle.I wanted to give this washer a chance .But since I owned a whirlpool and it made the same complicated reaction.This machine does clean clothes.But in my personal opinion the noise that it makes and with that screeching sound is for me to much to bear.GE might have been around for am long time but I think that with all the noise this machine makes might make you think heavy duty but I say even though any machine should not only be durable but comfortable to use in my opinion with that I think and feel that this machine needs an update from its manufacturer and testing on noise level not just how well it cleans .in this review and my obvious insight I do not recommend this washer because of the high noise level with screeching and aggressive vibration which is annoying to my baby and when she hears it she won't stop crying

I've run about a dozen laundry loads so far and I love this machine. Quicker, quieter, and uses less water than my old machine. Clothes and towels have come out clean, soft, and took less time to dry due to the thorough spin cycle. Very pleased with this purchase so far.

So far, so good. It’s very noisy at the beginning of the cycle. It has a very roomy tub size, so washing a comforter shouldn’t be a problem. The machine uses less water than my 1977 model, so my water bill should decrease.

The washer is surprisingly good. I like the precise full option. It’s a little louder than my previous washer but overall the washer does the job well. I have a small area for the washer dryer and it fit perfectly in that area. The price is also reasonable too!

Love the knobs very easy to turn. It washes very well. It is not noisy. The size of the washer is large enough for big loads.I like the delicate cycle, washes very well. This is the first washer I ever purchased for my house and for the price I was skeptical but it is great! A little loud but nothing major. It was washes really quick, I was not expecting that. Overall it is a great machine I’d definitely recommend especially for the price

Great simpe washer, for a great price. I was looking for a wahser for my elderly mother that was not complicated to use. This wahser is great, very simple to use and has lasted heavy usage.

I had an older version of this washer for about 12 years. While the old one was still working, some plumbing work was being done in the laundry room, so I decided to get a new one. I was pleasantly surprised to find almost the exact model at Best Buy and for a very competitive price. I prefer analog dials over touch controls, and this machine has all the settings and more than I would ever need. I particularly like that the spin cycle leaves the clothes almost dry, so it saves time in the actual dryer!

The washer works great, but I have trouble each time turning it on. It it start for a few seconds and stop then I have to pus it a few more times. The switch need to be a button or know. Also, I had to buy an extension hose and get a plumber to lower my drain pipe. If you get a new washer try to keep your old hose incase, you run into the same problem. I should mention my old washer was 37 years old.
