Q: What does itean when the screen says FL and is blinking and won't run and shuts off right away
A: The machine needs to be emptied of water. There is a drain valve in the back of the unit, centered towards the bottom.
Q: How do I get the system to stop turning on and off?
A: Hold down the button until it says fl2...
Q: What size room is this good for in square feet
A: undefined
Q: Why does it keep going on and off is it suppose to do that?
A: Yes. If you don't want it to do it hold down the fan button till it says fl2
A: Yes I trimmed mine and it still works great just make sure you check your seal
A: Yes you are correct. No drain connection needed. If you use the humidifier function then it will have to be drained.
A: Alex, are you referring to the exhaust nozzle? When I was setting my unit up, I pulled the exhaust tube to extend it and the nozzle came off. It was a royal PITA to get it back on. After that, once you put the nozzle into the window bracket, it will slide left or right inside the bracket to lock in place. It's not a real tight lock but should be enough to keep it from falling out. Hopefully that helps
