I love this stove it is a major upgrade from my last stove. The heating power is fantastic especially the quick boil burner. My favorite part is the griddle that is also the part I am having a problem with. The non stick surface is peeling off of the griddle. I have never used anything metal on it or scrubbed it with a rough sponge so I am not sure why it is coming off. I now need to figure out who to contact and the best way to get it fixed or get a new griddle part. Which is annoying I just got it in April. A few thing ppl said in other reviews that there is no light which there is. You can also change the heat of the oven by hitting bake again after oven is on and turning it up. My wife thought you had to shut it off then turn it on again. If the griddle didn’t mess up I would give this oven 5 stars.

So, we have had this for about a month. I installed it myself. Was very easy to install. The burners heat up the pans for cooking very quickly. It is very sturdy. I love the storage bin at the bottom. It is just a regular bin and a little cumbersome to open, but it didn't deter me from buying the stove. The oven heats up well. The only thing that bugs my wife is the timer ring. It is kind of soft. I still love the stove.

I'm looking forward to cooking pancakes this weekend with my grandkids on the center griddle. What a delight to see what the convection oven can do! I love my new GE range.

I bought this range to replace an older gas range. After one month of use, I'm completely satisfied with my choice. After 14 years with a very basic gas range, I wanted a few specific features, which this range had: *Various sizes of burners. My old range had four identical, small burners. Boiling a stockpot of water took forever. This new range has one small, one large (for stockpots), and two good-sized burners for everyday cooking, plus the center oblong burner. *Cast iron grates. My old range had gray enameled burner grates, which stained and were impossible to get clean. I like these much better (so far). *Center griddle. I've used this more than I thought I would. Great for eggs and pancakes. Not so great for hamburgers, bacon, or anything prone to spattering. It's cast aluminum with a nonstick coating; other reviewers have warned that you can ruin the surface with metal utensils. For $54, you can buy a cast iron grate for the center section. *Convection baking. Not something I had originally set out to buy, but I was easily sold on this feature. I probably use the convection feature for about half of my baking. The fan is not powerful, and only runs intermittently, but it seems to work. I haven't tried frozen fries yet, but I'm hoping to be able to retire my air fryer, which takes up a ton of space. *Top broiler burner. I don't broil often, but I can't imagine using one of those bottom-drawer broilers. Too close to the floor for my liking. Plus, I need a drawer for storage. Cons: pans sit a little high off the burners, so there is a lot of heat that leaks up the side of the pans, which makes it hot on the ol' hands when cooking. Also, the bottom drawer is terrible; I have to re-seat the thing almost every time I open it up.

My old gas stove was a piece of junk. The handle was falling off and it had a slight gas leak, so I started to look around for a replacement. I am in no way a culinary expert or master chef so I didn't need anything fancy, but I also didn't want the beginners model either. I have other GE appliances and really like them so I checked out what they had to offer. All I needed was an stove that boiled water, fried fish, and baked pizza. Anything extra was actually more than I really needed. Even though I don't really cook a lot, doesn't mean I wont in the future. I wanted a model with options, and I think this was the best one for me. Let me tell you some things about this stove. It looks great, first of all, and matches my other stainless steel appliances. It has plenty of cooking space on top, and it's easy to maneuver the pots and pans while cooking. The oven space is way more than my old one. Contrary to some of the reviews I have read about it, it does have a light you can turn on and off without opening the door, and it will also go on when you open the door. It's really easy to clean also. I just lift the three grates off the top and wipe off. Simple. It was also on sale when I purchased it, so for the price, it was a great value compared to other models. I have now owned it for over two months and have not encountered any problems with it, so I am very happy. I wouldn't have any doubts about recommending this stove to anyone else. Hope this helps. Thanks for reading.

This Thanksgiving I used the covection feature to bake our turkey and it was perfect!!! The oven works wonderfully. I also am in love with the Gridley on the stove top. When I make burgers I used the Gridley to toast the buns. I also use it to make grilled cheese.

I had a stove for over 30 years and needed a new one when remodeled my kitchen. Always bought GE, and so glad I did this time also. The new slate color is very nice and chic. More importantly I like how easy it is use, I figured it out real quick. It’s powerful and slick look without being complicated.

We love this stove. The griddle is perfect for breakfast & burgers. It cooks everything evenly. The burners come in small & larger sizes. The digital oven cooks really well, there is also a window & oven light. I really like the timer feature. The self cleaner for the oven seemed to work nice, however it gives off a very strong smell. Overall, we are very pleased with this purchase.

We read through many reviews while considering which model to replace our aged-out slide-in range, ultimately deciding on this model for three reasons: price (roughly 60% price of slide-in version, some elevated details and GE brand As nice as the elevated details are: —study iron grates, with rubber bumpers on stove top to help prevent scratching (so prevalent in other stainless steel models) —convection option with center griddle for a nominal cost difference they do not outweigh some of the factors to consider: —If converting to LP, all parts are included (a plus), but the conversion process and installation will require a technician outside of Best Buy. BB DOES NOT CONVERT OR INSTALL gas ranges (in the fine, fine, fine print). So don't count on being up and running shortly after they drop it off. This is extra cost in $$ and time to get to being able to bake that batch of cookies. I was told at time of purchase that this would not void or impact the Geek Squad additional insurance I purchased. —When LP conversion, many parts need to be dismantled. This isn't helped with the Instructions being minimal and leaving much to be desired: could be better designed and easier to navigate; Also no companion videos from GE found online. This would help tremendously in showing vs. telling —Flimsy, poorly designed bottom drawer. The glides are cheap, the metal is thin (see photo where the back is actually bowed because it isn't rigid enough to stay straight). The drawer comes off the rails easily. You need to be sure to get the rail inside a groove on the glide, otherwise it won't track properly. Cheap and an obvious cost-cutting measure. It does reflect poorly on the over all product and I hope I don't regret it.

The slate color was what drew us to this oven, also that it was a convection oven. The burners are much easier and efficient to use, its easier to keep clean because of the slate color finish. Still getting used to the baking temps, as everything cooks a little quicker. : )

This stove has quite a lot of features, from two types of self cleaning to a griddle in the center, to convection baking. I'm not sure why some said you couldn't turn on the oven light independently of the door - mine has a touchpad key right on the main display for this. I also like that the grates are dishwasher safe.

I like this oven generally speaking. I had a GE Profile for 12 years before this so this is slightly lower end. For the price, I think it's a good buy if you know a few things. There is no light button. You can't "turn" the light on to see how things are progressing inside. There is a light though and if you pull open the door a quarter inch, the light goes on and you can peek in. However, if what you are baking is sensitive to temperature loss, this won't help. Second, there is no Roast or Convection Roast. You bake everything so to the extent that matters to you, it is something to consider. I thought it would make a difference with a whole chicken, but it seems to come out the same with "Baking". Lastly, this is a self-cleaning oven in 2 ways. Regular-very high heat which every repair person tells you not to use because it burns out all the electrical components (I've experienced this twice with my GE Profile). The second way is steam clean which I have not used yet but at a lower heat but probably not as good. I only have this 2 months and already the window is cloudy and hard to clean.

So our old stove was around 20ish years old and falling apart so we figured it might just be time for an upgrade lol. We took a look a lot of stoves but wanted a quality one on the lower price range in order to allow more upgrades in other areas of our house. This stove has exceeded expectations. The burners work very well and get much hotter then our old stove. The convection oven is something my wife always wanted, but it does take some getting used to. We are finding it much easier to bake and cook food in general with this stove and feel so dam old (31) just getting excited about a new stove. Overall, it's on the lower end but provides a very good value buy. It won't have a million bells and whistles like stoves 3x the cost but honestly I don't need them. We can do all the baking and cooking we need to without feeling we need any extra stuff. Also a shout out to the install team. We have propane and they did the conversion with no issues. I have a gas detector in case of leaks and it's been running perfect. We will be returning shoppers for when our fridge gets it's upgrade later this year.

My wife and I have been looking for a gas range for months. After months of research we decided on this range. In my opinion this is the top of the midline ranges. The center griddle is extremely convenient and makes pancakes easily. The oven heats up fast and is accurate.
