Q: Do you need to buy anything with this in order to install? If so, what parts do you need?
A: Just had this stove delivered a week ago and today attempted to plug it in and discovered there is no power cord you have to buy the power cord separately and connected wires on power cord to specific wires at the back of the stove.
Q: How does the steam cleaning feature work?
A: Steam clean is intended to clean small spills using water and a lower cleaning temperature than Self-Clean. The steam clean cycle is designed to sufficiently heat the water added to the oven bottom at the beginning of the steam clean cycle, so that it increases in temperature and can then condense onto food soils, softening them and making them easier to remove.
Q: DOES THIS RANGE REQUIRE A WATER CONNECTION
A: No water connection is needed for the range to operate the Steam Cleaning feature. The Steam Clean is 30 minutes and uses only 1 cup of water that you pour in the center of the oven floor and then you'll close the door and proceed with the cycle. Joyce@GEAppliances
Q: How deep is the recess in the back? (How many inches do I have for the electrical outlet?)
A: This range requires 0" clearance against the rear wall (flush). As long as the protruding electric outlet and the range cord fit, there is no clearance needed between the rear of the range and the back wall.
Q: Does it come with smart control or do you have to use the ether net cable for wifi
A: This range does not have smart control capabilities and is not able to connect to internet. The port that you are noticing is not for ethernet and is a data port that allows the appliance to be tested or serviced more easily.
A: This lovely range requires a 240 volt power cord, 3-or 4-wire connection depending on your local utility codes and protected by a 40 amp fuse or circuit breaker. -Vikki@GEAppliances
Q: Does a pigtail electrical connection come with this stove?
A: No it doesn’t
Q: What is this ethernet port in the back top of this range suppose to be for?
A: This port is for our technicians! It allows them to connect to the range to diagnose the unit. -Kacie@GEAppliances
