Customers consistently note the excellent oven performance, particularly praising the convection feature and quick preheating. The ease of use is another frequently cited positive aspect. Many appreciate the stylish design and appearance of the range. However, some users mention that the stainless steel surface is prone to scratching.
This range has everything I wanted. The tri-ring burners is great. You can go from a very high heat down to a low simmer without moving the pan. The center burner is very handy. It's nice to have a smaller burner that isn't clear in the back. Change the grate out for the griddle or grill and you have a huge, integrated cooking surface. Compared to my previous Samsung range, this area is far superior. First, that burner was only oval and couldn't be round. That stove only had a griddle that was non-stick aluminum. This range comes with a seasoned stainless griddle/grill. I used it to make paninis. Cheese easily came off the cast iron. The edge to edge cooktop feels much larger than other 30" ranges I have used. The oven heats very fast and seems to work very well. I checked the temperature with my oven thermometer and it seems fairly close. The oven does let you put an offset to correct the calibration as well which is a nice touch. I also love the appearance of this stove. The cook top looks higher end than my Samsung. The knobs are very heavy, solid stainless. The display has a nice feel as well although it attracts fingerprints. Wifi connectivity is a nice touch. It took some work to set it up but works well. You have to remember to press the remote enable button after every use to turn the oven on remotely which is for safety but is mildly annoying. The only complaints I have so far are a little nit-picky. First, the burner caps don't all match. The tri-ring burner caps are heavy cast iron where the others are all painted a dark grey and feel a little cheap by comparison. They match what was on my Samsung though. I wish they were all cast iron. Also, the vent at the rear of the cooktop is painted in this same dark grey. I would prefer it to be stainless because the color slightly clashes with the cast iron cooking grates. The relays on the oven are rather loud. When in convection mode, you hear a loud click every time the fan kicks on and off. It's not terrible but definitely louder than my old Samsung. There is a fan that blows air out of the top right side of the cooktop when baking. This is not the convection fan and appears to be used to cool components outside of the oven. The fan is louder than I would expect. Again, not terrible yet it is unexpected. My Samsung did not have this. The non-stick coating on the oven and racks makes the racks not slide very well. There is an optional ball-bearing slide out rack that I may look into purchasing although it is rather expensive. I have also read there is a graphite based lubricant you can add although I am not sure if that is for the ball bearing slides or the stationary racks. Some additional notes: My counter opening was about 1/8" shy of 30" and the range fit snugly. My counters are about 36.375" tall although the wood counter on the one side is slightly warped and goes a little higher. Another deciding factor for this range was that it didn't overlap the counters like many other slide-in ranges. I don't think the trim kit is necessary. I thoroughly researched ranges and was between the Samsung slide-in and this one. The lack of overhang and the intergrated griddle were my deciding factors and I can say the edge to edge cook top and built in griddle are a huge upgrade over other 30" gas ranges I have used.

This model replaces our electric smooth top GE Profile range which finally started giving out after 22 years. The stainless cook top is easy to keep clean and washer friendly. The three racks in the oven is perfect for multiple baking sheets, and the self cleaning with steam is genius. This is our first gas range and are super in love with it. We specifically wanted a drawer to store baking and broiling sheets and pans, and this one has decent capacity. Broil requires keeping the door closed (new to us) and the heat escapes out the back side which is fine since our fan/vent is above the unit. The LCD oven controls remain dark with the clock feature when inactive and oven options/controls display upon touch. Intuitive controls. Easy to clean. Downsides for us: The heat escape in the back did extend the unit about 2 inches more forward than our previous unit. Our old unit was a custom fit with our counters which are higher than normal which left us with a 1/4 inch gap on both sides and about a half inch in the back that had to remain open for venting. Overall: We've found GE to solid with regards to their ranges/ovens. This unit has been everything we hoped for and love the overall appearance, operation, and reliability. It also connects to Wi-Fi.

Good looking addition to any kitchen along with the GE overhead fan. I tried every possible to pair them using the WiFi. I finally gave up. The 1800#, no help!. Looks great. That’s all.
