Good product, dont use their sticky strips

I love Cync and thwir smart light and plug products and only purchase their smart lights because it has a good ecosystem. The lights work great and when the hex panels fell off the wall i just contacted Cync from their website directly and not BestBuy and they were able to send over connector cabels that snapped when they fell. I decided to use 3M Command Strips with the velcro backing to rehang them and they stick up. So if anyone wants to hang these up use 3M Command Strips, you can get a big box off of Amazon in bulk.

Amazing Hexagon Lights – Totally Changed My Room

These GE Cync Hexagon Panel Lights are awesome for my gaming setup. The colors are vibrant, the dynamic effects look amazing, and they sync perfectly with the mood I want. Installation was simple, and the panels stick well to the wall. They instantly made my space look more modern and immersive. Highly recommended for gamers or anyone wanting stylish smart lighting. And it’s cheap because i got it on Lack Friday.

Cable did not work on one light

I finished installing these before I realized one of the cables did not work. There are no spared included and support, even with a membership, said i could return the product. I hated to take it down and return the entire purchase when all I needed was one connector cable. I really wish the manucature would consider that these are delicate and include one extra in the box or allow best buy to have a few for incidents like mine. The lights either stick to the wall or you can nail them in. I chose to nail every other one since it seemed more secure. Returning the product meant the entire thing was not usable because of the nails left in the product. It felt like such a waste. There were no similiar products available in the store so i was stuck returning. On another note, i saw reviews saying this was difficult to install and that is not the case. The template made it easy to lay out and the very well labeled outlets made the entire process easy.

Terrible install process. The linking cables are hard as nails to connect to the panel. The video of how to install is so misleading. It will take you at least 2-3 hours. First night of it being up, 2 light panels fell off the wall and chipped my wall. So all in all terrible product. Not worth the price.

So poorly designed. Lights are cool, if you get to keep them on the wall, which it's a NIGHTMARE to try to mount them! the link/cables break easily, the adhesive or nails (if you try that method) all of that... horrible! NOT WORTH IT. Don't buy.

Bad
The effect of the lights on is beautiful, but installation requires a lot of skill. the stickers to stick on the wall didn't work. After days of trying, I simply returned the item.

Should give you extra data cables

The adhesive wore off pretty quickly and when they fell off the wall it broke the data cable so now they are unusable however when they did work they worked as they were suppose to so 2 stars.

Great for musical performances
I’m a performing musician, and I bought these as a cheap way to bring custom, dynamic, multicolored, and music-synchronized lighting effects to my performances. I mounted them to a flat plane of wood for portability and they work great! Also, the Cync app is easy to use to configure light shows. I bought several packs of the panels Andrew have connected them together in sets. Now, I have lighting effects that rival some of the biggest acts, for a fraction of the cost.

Do not buy these lights. They are extremely tedious, time-consuming, and very annoying to set up took me like 2-3 hours to set up just for the lights to fall off the wall because the adhesive isnt strong enough and the nails they give you are a waste bevause it doesnt fully mount into the wall, these are an absolute waste of money, time and energy. Way to expensive for what youre given.

Buy Command strips also.

If you buy this product you will also need to buy command strips because the adhesive that comes with the product does not stick and Cync customer service knows this. Other that that, this product works amazingly well.
