Q: Is the filter compatible with GE PFE29BYTFS? Is the filter has RFID chip?
A: We are not seeing PFE29BYTFS as a model number in our system. If your model number is PGE29BYTFS, our XWFE filter is compatible with your refrigerator. The XWFE filter does have an RFID component, which allows the the filter to communicate with the refrigerator and utilize leak detecting technology to help prevent a potentially costly leak. If you have a different model number, we recommend reaching out to our parts department at 1-877-959-8688 to determine the filter that is compatible with your model.
