Overall, I think the product is good. It's attractive and super quiet. However, there is a major shortcoming. The keyboard is not backlit, which makes it difficult to read. What makes no sense is that the clock is very brightly lit. Too bad some of that brightness wasn't shared with the keyboard! Fortunately, my microwave is mounted above the counter where I look almost straight at the keyboard, but it's still hard to read. If it was mounted under the counter, the keyboard would be extremely hard to read and might even require kneeling to get a decent view of the keyboard. GE made a big mistake by not lighting the keyboard.

Excellent microwave, roomy, cooks to temp and has several useful features.

This model replaces an earlier one and it is everything we wanted in a microwave. Solidly built, it handles all our needs plus additional features that make its use more complete.

We got "pigeon holed" by this shelf space we have for our microwave and after searching for different options, this GE profile is the only one we found that would fit the space! So, having realized we are paying a premium for a microwave to fit our space, we decided to give Best Buy's so called "Excellent Open Box" a chance. Complete rip off as you can see from the attached pics. We ended up returning the microwave to the store.

Okay, it's a little more expensive ($400) but: Sleek, quiet, tons of options, "smart" capabilities... This is an excellent machine, and we (informally) tested it against another GE, and LG and a Toshiba. Won hands down, and now it's installed in our kitchen!

I put in a new kitchen and bought this microwave to fit in my upper 12 inch deep cabinets. Fit perfectly with only door of microwave out from cabinets. Was able to remove my over the range microwave and put in a beautiful vent hood. Not as powerful as my over the range microwave but works great.

Works great, and is both compact, being 12 deep and large enough for a dinner plate. The sleek design makes it a no brainer.

I had GE spacemaker 2 microwave and was looking for replacement without having to make change to cabinet space. It fit in well with and it is compact and working great!

We were looking to replace old counter top microwave that was used by builder for built-in cabinet. This was best option that would fit cabinet depth. We would have preferred one that was a little larger but settled on this. Connected wifi feature and works great and looks nice with trim kit. We found it cheaper at GE so Best Buy matched the price

Microwave is fine and fits in the cutout opening. The trim kit was scratched but replaced with no hassle. My only disappointment is there is a small opening between the microwave and trim kit. My old one was completely flush.

This is the best oven I've ever used. The Wi-Fi control feature is especially fantastic.

It works wonderfully. And it fits perfectly where the Sears used to sit.

I am only giving this experience a five-star review because I was informed by the staff that helped us at the store when we returned this item that this rating only would apply to them and not the entire experience. They were wonderful. Prior to that, you deserved a 1, if that. This damaged item has taken hours of our time, both before it was delivered (contrary to our request not to deliver it while we were out of town) and after. At this point, you should be paying us. You can review this experience in your notes. I will be sharing this horrible experience with your company far and wide. I must say that the individual people I have spoken to have been helpful, although speaking to customer service in a non-English-speaking country has had its share of frustration.

Giving a good rating based on specifications, but we had to return it because it didn't fit. The manufacturers dimensions were more or less correct but our installation vertical space was about 1/8 of an inch off from working. The front of the Microwave has foam/rubber feat which can be removed but the rear "feet" are part of the metal housing which cannot be reduced so we had to return without using.

Microwave is the only one that fits the built in space, but at least it has been a stable offering from GE. Last one lasted almost 10 years. More expensive and less powerful because if its size. I originally bought a open box and it was shipped horribly and arrived damaged. At least Best Buy is easy to return in store and exchange with new microwave.
