Improvements over our previous Profile microwave. First of all the design of ANY over the stovetop microwave is ridiculous. Too much heat rising up from the stovetop into the bottom of the microwave. Steam and grease rise up and onto cabinets atop the microwave. I would never by choice buy this combination again but due to space the builder put this in. Fast forward to the new microwave…..it replaced a 36” Profile above stovetop microwave. No one makes 36” units now. Only 30. GE makes a filler which addresses this change beautifully. This new unit has a slide out tray which traps steam and grease into the exhaust area. The interior finish of the unit is much easier to keep clean due to the dark color and design. Completely disappears until needed. The one thing they missed is really good down lighting all across the bottom of the unit. There is only one light in the middle leaving the sides of the cooktop with dim overflow light from the small middle light. All in all I am quite pleased with this replacement microwave and would definitely recommend this application to others.

Nice microwave. I like the slide out extension for venting. The controls are easy to use. My only knock is there is no number pad and in cook time are only in 15 sec intervals. Other adjustments are regular intervals (by one).

The adjustable vent works awesome.The control panel is simple to use.The apperance of it is nice

The touch sensitivity of buttons is less than the LG we had before. Also, the cooking time goes up in increments of 15 seconds, not one second. But, it is a good-looking product.

We were looking for an over the range microwave that had more powerful ventilation than the GE Profile that was being replaced, and this one did (400 cfm vs 300). Not only that, but the extendable vent feature is practicle and provides an added benefit. Heating is powerful and even. The dial is unique and something we had to have as we have become used to using it. Love this microwave so far!

We love our GE microwave. The knob is definitely an adjustment but the slide out vent is a game changer. We use it everytime we use our cooktop. The first one arrived damaged but Best Buy customer service came through and made sure we were happy. We finally received a perfect one.

I love my microwave/oven! It provides a great exhaust fan that helps remove all steam or smoke from the stove. Also provides 3 led lights for the stove. Awesome

Nice looking microwave, cooking setting is a bit complex but got it for the convectional cooking which works perfect. Meals are even evenly heated.

From price to installation to quality of performance it was a great experience!!!

I love this Microwave, except it is not as touchable as it should be.will not start easily when touched!!!

Great appliance, very easy to use, and very well made. Built-in convenience features work very well. Dial allows you to easily choose cook time. Fan is very powerful, lighting is great. My last microwave was a Kitchen Aid and I was contstantly changing the bulb.

So far very pleased with this model. like the extend a vent.

It was a good fit for the over-the-range installation. Has a number of good features and it matches with a GE range/oven. Purchased in the fall of 2024. It has a 1 year factory warranty. The microwave failed in January 2026, I would not recommend it unless you buy an extended warranty with it.

I cannot say any bad comments of my new GE profile microwave. The extra vents makes a lot difference controlling the odor of the food. Highly recommend to houses that recirculates air.

No cooking endevour is a match for the boost setting on the exhaust fan if vented to outside. Seering steaks would normally fill my house with smoke, but not since we bought this microwave 10/10 would recommend.

Excellent microwave with premium features. We love the extendible OTR (Over range) chimney hood. Very effective as well, BUT too LOUD. Gives you a headache.

Only had this for a month but so far we really like it!

Haven’t used all the features yet but so far so good. Look’s great and a great price.
