The fridge works great. Love the internal water dispenser, lighting, and the size is perfect. For the price though... Fit and finish are below expectations. Top of freezer door trim is scratched up. Can't get the fridge door to level out (left door as low as it can go, and the right as high). Also, leveling the fridge is at its brink too. Got the fridge level but it tips slightly back to the left if you push too hard. (my floors are level...) Don't get me started with trying to pick out all of the protective plastic from under the trim. For the price I'd go back to Samsung. Even with their unreliable ice makers.

Noticed an energy savings immediately. Compressor is off quite often which makes me think it's working efficiently. Quiet. User manual is terrible, not friendly.

Great Product. Although it has a smaller space because it is a Profile, it still has a rather large capacity.

There is a design flaw making cleaning of self impossible. Fluids get trapped under glass(see photo). Unable to get into this space to clean. Not consumer friendly. Called GE service. They are sending someone to look at it for $100.00 charge. They take no responsibility for the problem. Remember this when considering a GE refrigerator.

Finally, no more forgetting about items in the back of the refrigerator or having to move items around to reach the items in the back. This counter depth refrigerator has been terrific. The Freezer can be a little tough to open for my wife some times as it really seals tightly however, everything else about it has been great. Love the water dispenser being on the inside allowing for full use of the doors on the inside for shelves. Has been very convenient for the teenagers in the house as well who previously claimed that they couldn't find what they are looking for! Spacious and well lit.

So far, so good. Enjoying the roominess and ease of storing wide pans. New refrigerator replaces a side-by-side where items would get lost in the back of refrigerator. French door design with excellent lighting keeps items from getting shoved in the back and forgotten.

Very happy at this time. I read many reviews and did many hours of research including getting a subscription to Consumer Reports. I wanted reliability first, then features and finally price last. I read many reviews that talked about failures both during and after the warranty. I learned more about refrigerators than I wanted to. Paying more had no correlation with reliability. Some brands were highly rated for features and the ability to hold temperatures very accurately but had a higher failure rate. I ultimately choose this GE profile counter depth model. I hope it lasts as long as my last one (15 years).

The refrigerator is very nice, not very different from other brands in the same category. The only problem I have is that the freezer door is difficult to open due to the vacuum it creates. I saw other refrigerators where the handle breaks the vacuum and the freezer opens smoothly.

I’ve had this refrigerator for over a year now and I’m happy with my purchase. It’s easy to keep things organized and it maintains the temperature well. Having a water dispenser inside is nice.

Very nice fridge/freezer, lots of space, love the LED lights.... The new, no finger prints finish another plus. Rollers on bottom not easy to adjust to secure fridge in place...

We have only had the fridge for two months, but so far, it meets all of the criteria I was looking for and I'm very happy with my choice. Before I even began looking for a replacement of my white, 12 year old, side-by-side model, I looked at Consumer Reports on-line, to learn about the different factors to consider when shopping for a refrigerator. I learned that, by choosing a "Counter Depth" fridge (approx 29 inches deep) eliminated about 3/4 of the makes and models available. Furthermore, I did not want stainless steel, nor black color since my cabinets are medium oak, the walls are peach and terra cotta colors, and the floor is a brown tone. The slate color was the closest to 'brown' and would work. (Very few manufacturers offered 'slate' or 'white'). I also learned that a 3 or 4 door "French Door" style provided the most shelf room, and all refrigerated items were at eye-level. Without an external water & ice dispenser in the door, the ice-maker is in the lower section -- freezer -- and takes up much less room than those located in the refrigerator section. I also read many 1, 2, and 3 star reviews of various makes and models to see what other purchasers didn't like. A frequent complaint that I read was in regards to the Japanese manufacturers where the waiting time for parts to arrive from over seas was very long, and the customer services was less than satisfactory. After eliminating all the makes and models that didn't work for me, the GE Profile, 3 door "French Door" model with a depth of 29 inches, in Slate color, best fit my criteria. Thus far, I have no regrets.

I love the refrigerator. Unfortunately it took 2 returns to get one that worked. The first quit on me after 1 week and ruined my entire refrigerator full of food and meat. The compensation was close to the value but it was far short of the inconvenience. The 2nd unit had a defective freezer drawer and never closed fully. I am keeping my fingers crossed, so far, the 3rd one is working fine.

The refrigerator is a great look in my kitchen which needed counter depth. Plenty of storage for the two of us and I love that the water dispenser is inside the refrigerator! Never have to worry about water running down the front of the door or my grandkids measing with it. The only reason I gave it four stars was When you take something out of the freezer you better leave the freezer drawer open otherwise the suction is so tight you can’t open the freezer back up for quite some time to put back what you took out.

This refrigerator is enormous inside and very attractive outside. We got it to replace an old side by side that we had for many years. With the combination of the large drip proof shelves to the bins this thing holds so much more than our old fridge. The ice maker is large enough to handle family functions without much strain and the water dispenser puts out water without having to regularly empty and clean the dispensing tray. The freezer is now on the bottom and will take a little getting used to. But overall very happy!!!

This fridge is a joy to have in the kitchen. Access is easy, you can open and close either door and not worry about one of the doors being left ajar, placing items is smooth with plenty of room for an amazing amount of various sized items. The alarm, which can be on or off, is handy when using the fridge and leaving it open while being distracted. It has an excellent ice-maker

Got this fridge on sale for July 4th. So far so good. It’s a counter depth, but based on my research it’s good value. The shelving and drawers aren’t super flimsy and cheap like many others, and for a family of three we have plenty of space. Ice maker runs loud but we can deal.

Works fine. I’m still not sure how to manually turn ice maker off and I wish the freezer was larger.
