We replaced a 20 year old microwave with the new GE Profile Advantium electric convection - speed cook - microwave cooking unit. It has been a long time since we were in the cook appliance market. My wife always wanted a double oven, but it is not so important now that our kids have flown the coop. However, what a pleasant surprise to find the Advantium with its many options from basic microwaving to baking to speed baking. So far it seems easy to use, though we are still experimenting with what cooking option works best for various meals.

This is a great product that microwaves, broils, bakes and probably more, just haven’t figured it out yet. It is half the size of the gas oven, and less than a quarter of the cost in energy, as it does not heat up the house! We can bake a chicken in the summertime, and not heat the house (AZ). Very happy with this product

Haven’t installed product. Bought it because it has a steam function that can be isolated in top half of oven. Nightmare was paying for product in Sept, having Sept delivery date canceled, then rescheduled for April. All while website said it was in stock. Spent hours.

No problems - easy to use - the same as the previous model - really not noticing any difference.
