This model has True European Convection with Direct Air Upper Oven and True European Convection Lower Oven. True European Convection with Direct Air blows the convection air down from numerous vents in the ceiling of the oven cavity straight down onto the food. Airflow to all parts of the food and down into the cookware is dramatically increased. With multi-rack convection a damper system allows air to still flow from the back wall when baking on multiple racks at the same time. A: We offer model PKD7000SNSS in the 27" size. Although this model offers True European Convection in the upper oven, it does not offer True European Convection (or Direct Air) in the lower oven.
Q: Can you use this model without using any of the WiFi at all?
A: Yes, you can use this oven without connecting to Wi-Fi.
Q: Do you remove the old oven?
A: No Best Buy sent a local contractor that they have that they recommend and they did a wonderful job!

A: Yes glide easily and are self cleaning proof plus oven has a steam clean that you put 1 cup of water in bottom and turn on. Love this product!
Q: Does this oven door have a way to lock to prevent children from opening the lower oven?
A: Not to my knowledge.
Q: Does this oven have 'proof' mode for baking?
A: Yes, but I haven't tried it yet-plan to use it next week.

Sleek and stylish and cooks beautifully
This double oven is great. Super sleek and easy to use with a digital panel that you can chose what settings you need for top and bottom ovens. It fit perfectly in my cabinet where my older GE Profile double oven was located. It can be controlled over WiFi, but I haven't needed to use that function yet. I noticed that it cooks very evenly and browns much more uniformly than my older model. Highly recommend it.

Love this oven!
Love my oven! I wish it had dual convection, but it otherwise has all the bells and whistles one could hope for. It is very stylish looking, and works fantastically.

Great oven
This oven is so great. It has very consistent cooking due to the covection fans. I’ve baked, roasted, broiled and proofed without any failures. You do have to plan ahead because it takes longer to preheat, but the fact that it does a jingle and pings my phone and watch makes that a non-issue for me. The proof mode is excellent for sourdough. My second set of loaves in this oven were the best I’ve ever made and I credit the oven proofing for the success. The oven timer sings instead of buzzing or beeping and it makes the timer going off much more pleasant. It would be better if the timer also pinged the watch and phone, but it’s not a deal-breaker. Moving the non-slde racks is painful, but since the oven is so even across the whole space, i just leave the one that’s hard to move near the top for broiling.
