On Best Buy website the refurbished ClearView is stated to be in Excellent condition and put through all the safety checks to ensure everything is working properly for resell. The product is obviously marked down approximately 25%. I received the unit and after getting it out of the box I noticed it has 3-4 big dents in it on corner edges, top and sides. But Best Buy stated it was tested. I installed it quickly and with no issues. It runs quiet and cools room extremely well. A few hrs later I checked on it to make sure it was still working, the floor inside is wet. Apparently the inside pump or tube that pulled the water up and outside the window is broke or clogged because it is not working. You can not adjust the level because it sits down below window seal. The water filter/screen is also broke -and I am unable to pull it out of unit because the plastic frame of the screen is cracked and preventing it from coming out. I will have to tear it out but need a replaced me first. But I can not find them on the website or at GE website. Says out of stock. So I have buckets under it Collecting water. I’m not as upset because it does work and I can empty a bucket, However my wife is furious and would definitely not recommend this to be bought refurbished.
