Stacking kit is as described. Purchased specifically for my new GE Front load washer and dryer set. Had Geek Squad install stacking kit and keeps the washer and dryer very stable. Highly recommend if planning on stacking washer and dryer.

Doesnt dry too good horrible . The sorst. Uses too much electricity and still leaves clothes damp.

We recommend viewing the “The Dry dryness level was chosen but load is still damp” troubleshooting section of your Owner’s Manual, which can be viewed on your dryer model’s product page of the GE Appliances website. Required if stacking but not really usefull

Some installers will not stack your washer dryer combo without this. It is supposed to stop the dryer from vibrating off the washer however you could achieve the same effect with non-skid pads for cheaper depending. I think it is quite flimsy but I had to get it because i'm stacking. You may not have the option to NOT get it.
