  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: true (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)
    • Operating Sound Level: 48 decibels adjusted (Today's appliances are pretty quiet. To get a sense for how quiet you'll need, think about having a conversation in the same room. Choose from Not as Quiet (56 dBA or higher. You'll likely need to raise your voice); Quiet (50-55 dBA. Need to raise your voice slightly); Very Quiet (43-49 dBA. • Delay Start: true (Allows you to program the appliance to automatically run at a later time. This feature helps you coordinate with your household’s water needs, noise preferences, and more. Additionally, operating your appliance during off-peak hours may reduce energy costs.)
    • End-Of-Cycle Signal: true (An audible alert and/or visual indicator that notifies you when a pre-selected cycle is complete.)
    • Child Lock: true (Setting that allows appliance to be temporarily locked to prevent use.)
    • Filtered Water: true (Internal water filter(s) remove minerals and chemicals from hard water before the wash cycle. Filtered water is less likely to leave mineral deposits or stains, meaning your dishware will look cleaner for longer.)

Q: Is there a light on the outside door to indicate that the cycle is finished?

A: My dishwasher is finished. White light is on. Should I pull the door open not shore how to open it.

Q: The cutout height is 34 1/2”. Is this the maximum height? There isn’t any mention of minimum/maximum heights or if the legs are adjustable.

A: Hello- We appreciate your question and will be happy to help! This model can be 33-3/8" Minimum and 34-5/8" Maximum. We hope this is helpful! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. We are here to help! Joyce@GEA

Q: The model of the dishwasher is #GDT645SSNSS but the Consumer Product Ownership Registration Card that comes with the dishwasher shows the model number being #GDT645SSN3SS. Which is the correct model number? or is it actually the same product. Thanks.

A: Hi there - Great question! Don't worry, GDT645SSN3SS is the same model as what you ordered, GDT645SSNSS. The extra digit just adds some additional information to the model, much like when you add the area code to your local phone number. When the dishwasher is manufactured, these extra numbers are placed on the rating plate and registration card. Should service or parts be needed, these are used as identifiers for the specific appliance. Thanks so much for checking! -Mikayla

Q: I cannot start my dishwasher. I have had it about 3 months. The lights on the control panel are flashing and the 3 second delay doesn't work nor does disconnecting and reconnecting. What do I do?

A: Hi Dennis, thanks for reaching out! We're sorry to hear about your dishwasher starting, we know that must be frustrating. There is an article on our website titled "DISHWASHERS - WILL NOT RUN, HAS LIGHTS OR SOUND" that may prove helpful. If that does not help, you may want to reach out to service to see if anything else can be done to help. We hope that this helps. Stay safe. -Michael

Q: Can the heated dry feature on this dishwasher be turned off?

A: Yes. There are 3 modes. Off, normal and dry boost.

Q: Does this model come with tub trim?

A: This is a great question! Yes, this dishwasher features Tub Collar Trim. If there's anything else we can do to help, let us know! -Chris@GEA

Q: 1.5 year old GE Adora dishwasher flashes H2O code. relaced the undersink valve and connection hose. Still H2O code. Took out the fill valve and cleaned it, hooked itup to water and wiring harness, ran the machine. Water came out full stream. H2O again

A: Hi there, and thanks for communicating this situation to us. We hate to hear you’ve had an issue with the H2O code, even after replacing and cleaning parts; we know this must be frustrating, and regret any inconvenience caused. The H2O code is meant to warn you of a low water situation. As you have already replaced the undersink valve and connection hose, those may not be the issue, but you may want to double check that the inlet water hose/any water connection doesn’t have any kinks. If the H2O code appears specifically during the 1-Hour Wash, it’s possible a software update may be needed. If that’s the case, please call our Service Department at 1-800-432-2737. Disconnecting the dishwasher from power for a couple minutes before reconnecting may also help; this resets the electrical components and can often clear the error if the issue has been resolved. We hope one of these tips helps, but if you are unable to resolve this you may want to arrange service with that provided number; a technician would be glad to examine the dishwasher. If you have any other concerns or questions, we are always happy to offer further assistance, here or over social media. All the best! -Sarah@GEA
