Did not need new kit. old one worked fine. Sales staff were a bit under informed when they were trying to help me. If you want the microwave and you want it hanging under cabinets to keep counter space clear, it is useful, necessary kit item to go with the microwave oven. Installation with the templates enclosed in the kit made it east

This was really a "are you kidding me" purchase. It was a big price for a few nuts, bolts and spacers. Even the sales staff had a comment on this one.

Works. Time consuming to install. It comes with several templates and you have to find the one for the microwave you are installing.

The kit for a under cabinet microwave has excellent instructions and all the parts needed for a secure installation.

Works well. Only issue is that the hardware sticks up a bit therefore making storage on the shelf ackward.

we bought this mounting kit at the same time that we purchased our GE SpaceMaker microwave oven (JEM 31). we found that there are 4 mounting holes already present in the top of the microwave and it was easy to find 4 correctly sized bolts at the hardware store that fit and perfectly mounted the unit to the bottom of our upper cabinet. perhaps this mounting kit is more important for another model of microwave.

We were replacing an older GE microwave, and although the location of the holes had changed over the years, it was easy to drill the new holes & suspend the new microwave under the cabinet. The job was basically what I expected, and I'm grateful it was that easy.

3 weeks past the promised ship date, they cancelled the order. No offer to try again. This left me unable to install my new microwave that was purchased at the same. This former Sound of Music employee (R. Shulze's original store name for Best Buy) is very disappointed.

Turns out I didn't need this, so I returned it to the store for a refund. The installer was able to just screw in the new microwave using the existing screws.
