Great Packaging, liked the computer size, it came pre-loaded with W-11 Pro, ran very quiet (until...), no problems loading my software, lots of USB ports, and no connection problems with WiFi or Bluetooth. What I didn't like was the Cooling System, it wasn't as advertised. I tried to run a Game, X-Plane (it was also advertised for Gaming applications). The game ran a few minutes and the audio & video quit and came back (later found the computer was re-booting), this kept happening with less and less time between re-boots. The cooling fan outlet port was over 145 deg F. I put an auxiliary fan on the inlet air vents and cranked it to max, only then would the game run (with all graphics options to minimum). I contacted GEEKOM and was told I should run all the graphics options in Medium (Was already at mins), if that didn't help just keep using the aux fan.

size is perfectly small and fit onto the back of my monitor looks like a backpack. The thunderbolt port plus HDMI port give me various options to connect my 2 monitors well. I purchased USB4 cable to help transfer data and charge my phone, speed is exceptionally fast. There are four USB 3 ports to use, so this mini PC is definitely a great choice.

Purchased to replace desktop that I could not upgrade to Windows 11. Its's my fistt Mini pc. It's small, has plenty of ports and is plenty fast. No issues to complain about.

This mini PC at the sale price is worth it. More portable than a laptop when combined with a portable monitor. More versatile than a laptop, because you can connect it to any screen, keyboard, or other peripheral hardware. More ports than a laptop to support any work station. Because the hardware is physically independent, you able upgrade individual hardware components including the mini PC and extend the use life of each component. That's huge when you compare to a laptop with a use life dependant on components like the screen functioning and meeting your changing needs.

Working great. Super fast and quiet. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to use for work or at home. Not too heavy and reasonable price.

I bought two of these AX8 Max mini-pcs so that I can replace a couple of old desktops. The idea is to dual-boot Win11Pro and Linux. The AX8 Max comes with Win11Pro installed and ready to complete setup. If you run setup with no internet connection you can use a local acc't. Very easy. As others noted there is no bloatware, it is a relatively clean Win11Pro installation. You will need to manually turn off all the telemetry that comes from MS or use an online tool for that. There is one good online setup description that covers this machine. Look for the Neowin setup guide for the Geekom AX8 Max. Other guides are more general. I would give this excellent machine 5 stars and it likely deserves it but I can't get past how annoying it was to open the excellent box and unwrap the AX8 Max, turning it deftly in my hands checking all the available ports only to discover that the online descriptions that I used to help guide this purchase are all wrong. I was expecting to find an SD card slot but there is no SD card slot in this model. I had also purchased an extra SSD card to bump the storage to 2 TB and so I opened the case and also discovered that there is only one SSD slot. Best Buy, Amazon, and others including Geekom's own site do not have photos and descriptions that are model-specific. They recycle photos of similar units in the product line and so it is difficult to know in advance whether the mini-pc you are buying has all the features claimed in the product description. It makes me a bit mad since I invested several days of research checking out mini-pc models from multiple manufacturers before settling on this unit only to discover on delivery that I did not get what I wanted and what the product descriptions showed - an SD card slot and an extra SSD slot on the mobo. The other specs are great and so far it all works. I am keeping both of them though at the price it should've had an SD card slot and a second SSD slot. Note to anyone interested specifically in the AX8 Max - Ignore the photos in the product descriptions you will find online. They are generic Geekom photos and do not picture the AX8 Max unit. You can also ignore the product descriptions mentioning an SD card. The AX9 Max does not have an SD card slot and it does not have two SSD slots. The single SSD slot is populated with a 1TB card that should work for most people. If you need more storage you will need to buy a card with greater than 1TB capacity and use it to replace the existing SSD card.

I’m extremely impressed with the Geekom AX8 Max Mini PC in Purple. The performance is outstanding — the AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS paired with Radeon 780M graphics handles multitasking, productivity, and even light gaming effortlessly. The 32GB DDR5 RAM and 1TB NVMe Gen 4 SSD make everything incredibly fast, from boot-up to file transfers. Despite its compact size, this mini PC feels powerful, quiet, and very well-built. I also appreciate that Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed and runs smoothly right out of the box. The purple color is a nice touch and gives it a unique, premium look. Overall, this is a fantastic mini PC for work, entertainment, and everyday use. Highly recommended for anyone who wants top-tier performance in a small, stylish package!

I had a large desktop and decided to replace it with my laptop to save space and have less clutter. All worked out well and I did save a lot of space and use less AC power. Then I discovered the Mini PC’s, they looked too good to be true.Install was easy. Quiet like a mouse.runs cool. No problems. Nice and small.

I was hesitant about getting a mini PC to be used primarily for gaming due to some negative reviews I've seen. Thankfully my experience with playing current generation videogames has worked well on this hardware! It's also quiet with no overheating issues.

Purchased this because my prior PC wasn't Windows 10 compatible. So far I am impressed by the speed and it plugged right into my existing keyboard, mouse, monitor switcher with no hiccups. Highly recommend.

This mini computer does everything that I need it to do. Plays the Total War series smoothly but I haven’t tried any shooter games yet. Very good value!

PC works great....except it cannot control two monitors. After a week of emails with geekom support and trying numerous "fixes" it still fails to work properly. This computer is supposed to be able to support FOUR monitors. I checked for latest AMD Graphics driver and it is installed and shows to be working. Best Buy support has been non existent so far.
