This is a great laptop. It’s super light, super fast and way better than I expected. High quality. Hardware feels like a MacBook Air without all the cost. It’s really awesome.

This Laptop is a powerful and well-balanced system that delivers a strong experience with the pre-installed windows 11. Most modern titles run smoothly at high settings, and the system keeps up well with multitasking, streaming, and everyday productivity. The 32GB of DDR5 memory and 2TB SSD provide plenty of speed and storage for large game files and applications, and load times are impressively quick. The wireless connection is strong and fast. As long as you have a good router to support it. Connectivity is no issue with USB-C and Bluetooth on tap as well. I don't use the mouse pad much, but I use a Logitech Bluetooth mouse, and it just works seamlessly with this laptop. Power does take up one USB-C port, but it doesn’t bother me at all for my use case. With 2 USB 3.0 and one open USB-C, plenty of other ports or hubs need be. There is no native RJ-45 Ethernet port to keep things slim, but I haven’t missed it. The battery life is decent, and the keyboard keys are very smooth. I think for the money, you really cannot go wrong if you want decent amount of power and capability in this sleek of a package that is a real laptop and not something you also need to drag around laptop cooler or compromise with. This Laptop is very light and just what I wanted.

It runs nice and fast, but seems to get warmer quick compared to other laptops I've owned. Battery life is average. The touchpad soft tap intermittently does not work so you have to press down and click it to make it work. I looked up a YouTube video review and saw the reviewer had the same issue.

I purchased this out of my pocket, no sponsorship, or other outside influences. After talking with a Geekom customer rep, I’d suggest providing this review will have the exact opposite motivation for Geekom to want a relationship. Special note before I being: The first thing I did was make a recovery USB drive, and 11 hours later I installed Zorin Linux. So if you're a Windows person, this review will not address the security hole that is Microsoft. If you're hoping to get a long lasting *battery, choose another laptop. I'm averaging 3.5-4.25 hours on a full charge, doing nothing but using the Internet (Amazon, FB, and very few Youtube reviews). That's the really bad, and I wanted that out front. As far as speed goes, a general user experience is fine. It has plenty of memory, and a 1Tb drive, although slow. Between that and my USB-C thunderbolt drive, as stated, it took 11 hours to make a recovery drive (that's horrible). The back-lighting on the keyboard is pretty spotty, and it looks like there are 5 or 6 light sources under the keyboard, so light dispersion is not great. || The laptop does not wake on lifting the screen, but I believe this could be fixed in a revision. The touchpad is below average, and reacts differently depending upon where and how you interact with it. You do get used to it, but we should not have to change to meet the limitations of the brand. Those are the Meh, to the really bad points, and I wanted that out front. The only thing I've yet to test are the camera, the microphones, and the HDMI video out capabilities. I've read other reviews that suggest it is very limited when broadcasting to two monitors. While you get close to 4k on one, that is cut by more than half on two monitors. Now for the good stuff. The keyboard has a very good feel, with a nearly silent mechanical feel, and very responsive. The screen is very clear, bright and has a fast refresh rate. No lag, no shadow dragging, The weight. Folks, this laptop weights just 2.2 lbs. If feels durable in spite of the fantastic lightweight body and internals. It either has very good airflow, or I've yet to tax the Intel SoC processor. For me the highlight of the unit was the simplicity of installing Zorin Linux. I've been a Linux user since 93, but I approach every Linux distro as if new to the OS, and or a beginners experience installing an OS. Zorin installed flawlessly, without changing the very few prompts or default install settings. I've since installed Mint, and it too went flawlessly. I'm a large corporation consultant, and talk to folks from all of the largest tech manufactures (US, Asia Pac, Germany and England), to the software giants, to contract corporations that work for the military, and I wanted to see if this might have been a good unit for those who buy hardware refreshes on a budget, or demand portability. My conclusion I,s NO - This is a fantastic laptop for home and hobby, but it is not going to please anyone from medium to mega corporations; most of whom want long battery life, easy docking capabilities, and increasingly video as a conference medium (Zoom, etc). The other requirement is security, and this coming from China (like most other laptops, but unregulated like Apple/Foxconn, Lenovo, Dell, HP, ASUS, Microsoft) begs the question, when using the default OS (Windows), how secure is the laptop as configured from the factory? Of course cloud services often fly in the face of their data security promises, so what is truly secure? Now with Lenovo having an equally configured laptop on sale for $999 with a touch screen (on both Bestbuy and Amazon), this Geekom comes in at a premium, without a touchscreen, slower internals, and questionable tech, or after the sale support. If you have an issue, BB will tell you "It is sold and shipped by a third party, they don't support it." So your only current ability would be to ship it back to the manufacture and hope for the best. Since Lenovo has come out strong against the upstart in Laptops (not really, they’ve been around since 2003 making Mini PC’s), the Geekom is now higher priced than a well known brand, with US support in most states. * with the laptop turned off and unplugged with a full charge at night, after 8 hours in that state, I continue to have a 12% battery drain every night, with all apps and services turned off, prior to shutting it down. What is the laptop doing overnight while we sleep? Is there an “always on service” running, or is there a power off phone home feature that opens a door for Geekom.

Very satisfied with this purchase. The product arrived quickly, was easy to set up, and works exactly as expected. The build quality feels premium and the performance has been reliable for daily use. Battery life is solid and everything runs smoothly without issues. Definitely worth the price and I would recommend it to others looking for a dependable option.
