Box says "Not for sale or use in California" but GE company said its probably old clearance stock from before laws changed in CA. Won't burn down my house. Bright light and low energy use. Works in my dimmable lighted ceiling fans.

I’ve been using this LED bulb for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m really impressed. The soft white light is warm and pleasant—perfect for bedrooms and living rooms where you want a cozy atmosphere. It turns on instantly with no flicker or delay, and it’s completely silent (no buzzing like some cheaper LEDs). In terms of brightness, it does a great job mimicking a traditional 60W incandescent bulb, but uses only about 8.5 watts, so it’s energy-efficient. I also appreciate the long lifespan—rated for over 10 years with normal use—which makes it a great value. Only downside? The bulb is slightly longer than a classic incandescent, so it might not fit in every fixture, especially enclosed ones. But that’s minor unless you’re using it in a tight spot.

I really enjoy this soft light. The light has a warm glow. I love this light in the fall or winter in any room. I stock up on these during the spring and summer months.

LED bulbs with good light color. Not overly bright white like a lot of the cheapo LEDs bulbs out there.

This work great and save a lot of energy. We haven't tried the dimmable feature yet.

We purchased these as we needed to replace some of our LED bulbs that were part of our original conversion from regular bulbs many years ago.

Awesome!! Use them in bathroom mirror side lighting, with a good Leviton variable setting switch. These work so well I have 1 Light turned of and the other set to 1/2 power. More than enough light to shower, shave, or sit-n-read. Great saving. Plenty of light. Ceiling light had 2-14watt Flo tubes, Very Bright. Took 1 out and, for me, still bright. Bottom line - 1 ceiling light 14 watts, 2 LED dimmable bulbs 16 watts = almost 2x the light of the Flo tube. Think of the money saved. Yea, When I bought these they have proven to be Well worth what I paid.

Purchased 3, 4 packs which brought the cost of the bulb to ~$1 ea. These are dimmable and have a good range of light output. They are sized very similar to a standard light bulb as I have fitted one in the overhead can light in the shower. For the power savings and at this price, they will most certainly more than pay for themselves before they break (even here in Texas where out power is cheap). A few years ago when a LED bulbs were 9-15 dollars, pay back was a huge maybe, where you would hope they lasted long enough (which they didn't).

I can't speak on how long they last as they will probably out live me. I was in the light fixture/ light bulb business for forty years and sold almost every type of light bulb/ fluorescent tube that was made. These type bulbs surprised me at the high cost they sell for every where, not just Best Buy. The bulbs are brighter than regular incandescent bulbs and are supposed to last approx. 13 years. For a great deal, Deal Of The Day to the rescue!!!! I buy on Deal of the Day often and that makes everything more affordable.

I bought these on the deal of the day. What a bargain! Name brand bulbs with a real warranty. As to the bulbs themselves, they are a little brighter than the off brand bulbs and dim without flickering. The dimming range as well seems to be a bit more even and linear, at least with the control socket I'm using. In addition, they are not quite as 'soft white' (eg., reddish) as the other bulbs, I would guess maybe 3000K rather than 2700K, which I find quite pleasing.

The General Electric - GE 800-Lumen, 8W Dimmable A19 LED Light Bulb, 60W Equivalent (4-Pack) has certainly solved a lighting problem for my bedroom ceiling fan lighting fixture. These bulbs provide a nice rich & warm lighting the room & since they are LED bulbs should last for years perhaps. The item was also a "Deal of the Day" at Best Buy. The local store also provided the safest pick-up option.

Great basic bulbs! No issues with dimming. Bright and I like the color temperature.

I've had mostly GE 100 watts in the same flavor of white and wanted some bulbs that were not at bright. I put these in lamps or bathroom shower light were I don't need the sun. So far they are working great. If they last as well as the 100 watters, they will work out great. And got them at a markdown price.

I bought these to put in my outside lanterns that are mounted all around the house .. near garage doors and back deck to leave burning and won’t kill my budget and to last as long as possible. They give off a very nice light and don’t have that bright white light some LEDs give off. Not sure if I can come back and review how long they last but will try.

We're using these with a ceiling fan that has a built-in light dimmer. They work well and are very bright, but depending on the dimmer's setting, they sometimes turn off, despite other bulbs not having an issue. I've also noticed that these have a split second delay before turning on after flipping the light switch in other spots that don't have a dimmer. Not sure if these are defective, or if that's just how they operate, but they're still functional so it doesn't bother me.
