I picked this up to use on my GFX 100 II body to use for wildlife when I don't need the frame rate and autofocus speed of my full frame gear. For larger slower wildlife or even perched birds along with the 1.4 TC it will do a very good job. The build and image quality is great and it's a light and compact lens also. I do wish the tripod foot removal button was on the reverse side, when hand holding I'm always worried I'll push it in and have it drop to the ground. This will be a great addition for wildlife photography but isn't a setup I would pick for my only wildlife setup and that's why I don't give it a 5 star rating. For medium format though this is much better than trying to adapt older 645 or 67 lenses for wildlife. I've been impressed so far and think it can only get better with future bodies.
