I’ve been using the Aero X16 with the RTX 5070 for a little while now, and I can confidently say this is one of the best laptops I’ve ever owned. It combines sleek design, excellent thermals, and real desktop-class gaming performance in a portable form factor. Performance Out of the box it already delivered smooth high-refresh gameplay, but with a little tuning and overclocking I’m consistently hitting 200+ FPS in COD with DLSS and Frame Generation, and 150–165 FPS at the native 2560×1600 resolution in Battlefield V. That’s performance I normally associate with a desktop rig, not a laptop. Thermals & Cooling Even under heavy gaming loads, the GPU temps sit in the 60s–70s °C thanks to the cooling system, turbo fan option, and a cooling pad. Unlike most gaming laptops that run hot and throttle, this one maintains stable boost clocks for hours. Display The OLED panel at 2560×1600 is stunning — sharp, vibrant, and smooth at 165 Hz. Whether I’m gaming, editing, or just browsing, everything looks great. Build & Features The chassis feels premium and slim without sacrificing performance. RAM and storage are upgradeable, and having access to NVIDIA Studio drivers makes it great for both creative work and gaming. Value For the price, it’s a steal. This laptop punches well above its weight — outperforming many stock RTX 5070 Ti laptops once tuned, while staying cooler and quieter. ⸻ Final Verdict If you’re looking for a laptop that can handle competitive gaming, high-resolution single-player titles, and even creative workloads without breaking a sweat, the Gigabyte Aero X16 with RTX 5070 is an easy recommendation. It’s not just future-proof — it’s a desktop replacement that you can actually carry with you.

I purchased this laptop to replace a 10-day old HP Omen. I was very impressed by the price ($1,279.99), and performance underneath that price. Below are some 'Pros and Cons' that I have typed out for your convivence when buying. Pros: -Thin and Light Design -Processor Speed -RAM -Screen -Battery Life (lasted me 2 hours on full gameplay) Cons: -Keyboard (very thin, no NumPad) -VRAM (similar performance to a 5060- only 8GB) -Ports (USB 2.0 in 2025!) I do recommend this laptop, although. The price was amazing for the performance, and I am more impressed than the HP. In conclusion, if you are looking for a thin, light laptop able to game and work, this is the one for you.

I did a lot of research into gaming/creator laptops and went with the Gigabyte Aero. I love it a month later still. Battery life is amazing. Screen is fantastic. Face unlock is flawless. Track pad is probably the best I have ever used. Gigabyte software for performance management is great. I keep the default setting where it turns off gpu and runs off Ryzen iGPU when unplugged. This makes it have the battery of a normal high end office laptop. Note, there are two gpus technically. The RTX5070 and a iGPU on the Ryzen chip. I would buy again. It is also very light weight at 4lbs. Finally, charges super fast.

I’ve had the laptop for a couple weeks and the power is great the laptop is running smooth and it’s lightweight with a stylish design. I ran into some software hiccups with a face recognition glitch between gigabyte software and was helped by windows support to clear it up. Other than that games and editing software have been running great. The laptop gets hot during high strain tasks like gaming but nothing crazy that settings and accommodations can’t fix like for other laptops. I use the cardboard that the laptop comes with as a lap pad which is just as it’s advertised from the instructions straight from the box. A well thought out design for a powerful laptop. So far so good!

I recently decided to upgrade my setup and switched from my old laptop to this Gigabyte model, and the difference is night and day. What surprised me the most is its versatile design, which adapts perfectly to my needs, whether for work or gaming. In terms of performance, it is extremely powerful; it handles multitasking and demanding programs without breaking a sweat. Plus, aesthetically, it looks very elegant and feels premium. I am very satisfied with the purchase; it really exceeded my expectations regarding speed and build quality. Highly recommended!

This laptop has been a wonderful addition to my house so far. I purchased it for college and gaming. So far it has been smooth and easy. Everything loads quickly, the sound is nice and loud, and the visuals are beautifully crisp. So far, my only complaint is that the keyboard should have been a bit wider across (you get roughly an inch on both sides of space), and the usb ports are tedious. Trying to get my usb in was nervewracking because the holes are tight fits. Not necessarily a bad thing, but i thought i would break something in order to plug things in. It came well packaged (albeit, dirty box) with a thin protector between the screen and keyboard. Also- it isnt very heavy at all. Quite manageable. Fits nicely in a laptop sleeve or backpack. I put mine in a 15.6-16 sleeve and stick it in my 17" backpack.

I purchased the GIGABYTE AERO X16 as a full-time content creator and small business owner, and it has been an excellent upgrade. I use my laptop daily for YouTube video editing, short-form video creation, graphic design, and running multiple web platforms at the same time (Canva, Shopify, email tools, and more). This laptop handles all of it smoothly with no lag. The performance is outstanding. Video timelines play back smoothly, exports are noticeably faster, and multitasking is effortless thanks to the 32GB of RAM and dedicated graphics card. The 1TB SSD gives me plenty of room for video files and design assets. The 16" 2560×1600 display is a huge plus. It’s sharp, bright, and gives me much more workspace for editing and designing thumbnails and social media graphics. This is clearly built for creators and power users. It does run fans under heavy loads, but that’s expected for a high-performance laptop and hasn’t been an issue for me. Overall, this is a fast, professional-level laptop that feels very future-proof for video, creative work, and AI tools. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone doing content creation, editing, or serious multitasking.

This laptop is very snappy. The screen is incredible despite not being an OLED. It has 4 USBA ports 1 USBC/thunderbolt port, 1 Ethernet and 1 HDMI out. It works very well with a second display. The Gigabyte Gimate application is very helpful for toggling between performance modes and adjusting the fans and or enabling or disabling the dgpu. Every game I've tried to run on it has run incredibly well, including Wuchang Fallen Feathers. I've been able to get 7b parameter llms running locally and with very good response time usually less than a couple seconds. It's been working flawlessly for school, streaming, gaming, surfing, etc. It doesn't seem to slow down no matter how many tabs or applications I have running. It boots up incredibly quickly. The only complaint would be the 8gb of vram. It has a very premium feeling build including the metal sand blasted top cover. It's incredibly light and incredibly thin. The battery is decent. I got about 3 or 4 hours of moderate use out of it before I needed to plug it in and that was on performance mode not in eco mode. There is hardly any flex in the keyboard. Would buy this again.

A high spec’d gaming and creator laptop that is surprisingly light, has a clear and bright display and a long lasting battery. And with an RTX 5070 all for below $1500 it is one of the best deals out there right now.

Great laptop for the price, as it was open box and a few hundred under regular price. Had an issue with bluescreens on startup for a bit, but updated all drivers and BIOS and installed the Gigabyte Control Center and rest of the manufacturer's software, and it's been flawless since. Salesman was great too - walked through at least a dozen different open box options for me without a bit of complaint or negativity, and was helpful in the whole process. Myself and my son both have been customers for many years, and will always come there first when looking for anything electronic.

The Gigabyte Aero X16 is a great computer! It has been able to do everything that I want to do with it including web browsing, coding for academics, and gaming. It has been able to keep up with games like Diablo that have very CPU-intensive and graphics qualities to it.
A lot of power in a small form factor. Runs the games i play at great FPS and boots quickly. So far I'm loving it! Battery life is awesome.
