The reviews on this seem mixed, so I thought I would add my own. I've worked in IT for over 20 years. This motherboard is a great value for the price. It's not perfect, but it works well right out of the box and Gigabyte does a nice job making driver installs very easy. A lot of reviews mentioned dead boards but I had no issues at all. Maybe there were issues with the first runs, but that's also why I tend to wait until a product has been out for 6 months or so before ordering. Let others be the beta testers, especially with a new platform like AM5. Installing Windows was easy, installing drivers also very easy. Firmware updates were also simple. The build quality is great, I was surprised by the heft to the board, but AM5 adds great features like a permanent backplate, and Gigabyte added a lot of nice heat sink options to this board. Very few negatives bring the score down a bit. For the price, it should have wifi and bluetooth. It also should have a better back plate. That's really it, otherwise, great motherboard.

I got this board because it seemed to be good enough for a 7700x based gaming PC, and I wasn't planning on overclocking it. (I got lucky and now that there has been some legit reviews, this is the best bang for the buck AM5 in early 2023 if you don't feel the need for any PCIE 5.0) When I got it it wouldn't post. Not a big issue, guessing it was the earlier UEFI/BIOS got stuck memory training. Cleared the CMOS, booted up right away. Updated to newest BIOS. EXPO set correctly, windows installed easily, and with mid tier CL36 DDR5 5600 I'm still getting baller FPS with my 7900XTX. (sidenote, apparently DDR5 takes longer for the board to acknowledge it correctly? "memory training"? watch some tech tubers, they explain it way better than I can)

This is one of the best value for your money AM5 motherboards out there. As with all AM5 boards ake sure to inspect the CPU socket for bent pads, and when you install the RAM have the motherboard on a flat hard surface to make sure the RAM seats properly. All of the ports work, and there are no compromises on connectivity, and from the M.2 working at the same time as all the expansion slots and the SATA ports. I will note update the BIO/UEFI before changing any settings beyond default and you should have no problems enabling higher RAM speeds, and yes the motherboard does let you multiplex the 16x slot a huge plus if you want to put a M.2 carrier card in it and use the CPU's integrated graphics for example in a home file server.

Great small form-factor board, does what a mobo should do. Only issue I had was a very high pitched coil whine, thought it was the CPU at first but it's the board. Still holds up well enough for an AM5 board.

Overall good value! However, the lower m.2 nvme slot conflicts with the pcie x1 slot; expect low bandwidth if you plan to use a pcie WiFi card

I personally haven't had issues with it just yet, it can be a pain sometimes to change the ram speed but that is about it.

Should be good for those over locking players. I have no time to do this kind of tweaking. Spend some time to setup BIOS, so that system can play longer time.

the motherboard is pretty good it does its job, but there is coil whine that I do hear from it although its not that much of a deal breaker.

I bought this motherboard for the am5 compatibility, didnt realize it only took ddr5 ram

After installing this case I noticed it was emitting a weird static noise that concerned me. I could hear it even with the case closed. Decided to return it and go with a different motherboard.

Best AM5 socket motherboard for the money that I could find. No complaints from me. Good performance. I only needed one PCIe slot. Has DDR5 Ram slot

This was purchased as a testing boared but ended up becoming a replacement board. As with any new build, without a test stand, its difficult to determine a factory defect or component hardware related cause to a failure. This board isolated the root cause and in that evaluation made me realize that this was the better choice for my needs. I did, however, discover firsthand the drawbacks to this manufacturer's support for certain processors and their memory requirements/capabilities. In the end, I'm still deciding on purchasing yet another one!

Worst budget board ive ever had. Unfortunate they exist. Cant handle mid range ram at full speeds and isnt beginner friendly i wouldnt recommend no matter the price.

I never got the BSOD error code till this board. It doesn’t work well with 4080 gpu. Bios s upgrading is great once you figure it out. But you have to do research on how to do that. I totally regret wasting my time and money on this ….. board.

Pretty easy to setup. Has 2 M.2 slots which lets me expand my memory to a pretty high amount

motherboard arrived on Dec. 30. assembly and testing took longer than expected due to multiple problems with board's functions. tried to return on Jan. 16. Online chat said I missed 15 day return period by 2 days, refused to help. Very disgusted ex customer.
