[Employee of bestbuy] Honestly, gigabyte makes solid products. Ive built with several of these cards and the performance at the price is a no brainer. One of the best mid-range budget cards on the market.

My family has (2) 4060 PCs, (2) 4070 PCs, and (2) 4090 PCs. The 4070 with its 12GB of VRAM is significanlty better than the 4060, and is well worth the price difference. The jump from a 4070 to a 4090 is also significant, but the price difference is massive. I got one of our 4070s as an open box for less than $500 out the door. That's great value!

first ever PC and went with the 4070, perfect for 1440p gaming, also love the all black design it matches with my PC aesthetic. definitely recommend this GPU if you’re looking for 1440p gaming.

Glad i bought it, worls well! Only thing i have noticed is that at a low speed upon initial startup the fans will vibrate a little and make some noise, but once all the way going its as silent as you'd expect

Here's very well with AMD 5800X3D. With the right settings applied to games like Call of Duty® and Fortnite. You get over 200 to 300 FPS easily that is also considering medium to high quality settings.

Underrated card for the money in this current generation. Understandably the 5070 is coming out at the same price point but no card on launch comes out at MSRP without supply issues and scalpers flipping for significantly more and the AI boosted specs only apply to games that support it. So that's where this $550 beauty comes in while most cards are $650-$800 for anything with a beefy 16gb's etc. This at least has 12gb of ram and some decent horsepower to make games look gorgeous with ray tracing. Current AM4 specs running a 5800x, 64gb's of 3600mhz ram, and now this 4070 OC 12gb V2 is running absolutely amazing together. Upgraded from a 2070 Super which honestly is a severely underrated card but it lacks VRAM which is it's only real weak point. It played anything I threw at it well even Cyberpunk 2077 at high spec. But now with this 4070 OC it rocks Ultra to High settings with nearly all Ray tracing on (Just no path tracing as its not worth the FPS drop) and the game looks absolutely amazing AND runs a solid 67-80 FPS range on demanding settings 1440 resolution. Absolutely bang for your buck with no stutters. What's even nicer is, it's a more power efficient card than the 2070 Super I had going from 2-8 pin connectors down to 1-8 pin connector. It's a smaller card overall but at the loss of no RGB. Which I can live without for the price and performance. Noise is quiet with no issues of any whine or anything. Fans Spool up just fine. Plugged into my old B450 Motherboard and performed with no issues. Instant recognition. So even in 2025, I do recommend this card but it seems I may have got one of the last ones available as typing this. Maybe it'll come back again? But likely not as 50 series is coming now especially since the price point again is the same but stock and scalping is the real issue.

This Graphics card is GREAT. I recently bought a RTX 4060TI 16GB that ran 30% slower than this Gigabyte Card. The 4060TI had a memory @ 126-bit and dragged the 16GB into the ground because it was at 126-bit. Even though the Gigabyte has 12GB it runs at 192-bit. IT MAKES A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE. This Gigabyte Card runs much faster, doesn’t glitch or lag and plays most of the games I run without an issue. For example, the new Indiana Jones Game runs between 70-100fps at 4k. The newest Forza Motorsport runs at 60fps (which is what it’s designed to run at) also at 4k. So feel free to game away with this Gigabyte Card. Seems to handle most games really well and of course because it’s the 4000 series it can incorporate all of Nvidia’s wiz bang features.

Can run any game in the market efficiently. Very quiet compared to other graphics cards too. Very easy to install

Awesome mid-range GPU. A bit on the heavy side though so recommend also getting a support bracket.

The NVIDIA RTX 4070 offers outstanding 1440p gaming performance with DLSS 3 and ray tracing, delivering smooth visuals and realistic graphics. It’s energy-efficient, compact, and quieter than previous generations, making it ideal for most setups. While capable of 4K gaming, settings adjustments may be needed for demanding titles. With modern connectivity and excellent value for its features, the RTX 4070 is a solid choice for gamers and creators alike.

Runs CP2077 great at 2k. Excellent value. Side note, doesn’t fit in a dell R730xd.

Great card that runs everygame super effectively. New games such as Stalker 2 FPS is around 150-180 on high/ultra settings, Indiana Jones FPS 150-170 on high/ultra settings, and BO6 around 190-210 on high settings. Overall this card is great and has the ability to run demanding games exceptionally well and will more than likely last for years to come!

Very good graphic card. The card has very solid fps in every game title I play. And if you play 1080 I recommend try a 1440p monitor with you will thank me later.

I was running a 2080 super and was in need of an upgrade. Specially since I upgraded to a 4k monitor. The new GPU can run everything in 4k at max settings

Whatever you want to play you can do, and with excellent quality and frame rate, I highly recommend it, and the gigabyte brand has never let me down.
