Gigabyte has delivered again with this SFF AERO model. This card is shorter and thinner than my Gigabyte RTX 3080 VISION OC while packing 80% more performance. The build quality is superb, and its white finish matches the aesthetics of my build perfectly. Gigabyte’s 4 year limited warranty is a nice bonus for making the best choice.

First, I'll just state the obvious. The large price over msrp and fighting against bots for stock sucks. We all know this, so I'm not going to include that any further than this brief acknowledgement. I'm coming from a 3090 and have a 2k 240hz monitor, and the difference is definitely noticeable. In the more competitive pvp games I play, I can easily maintain 220-240fps on mid (and some high) settings. In the pve games, I can crank the settings to max and still get 100+fps. Considering I have yet to overclock it (but plan to), this thing is an absolute beast of a card. So far, I have had no issues with temperature, the highest reaching about 50*C despite being the SFF version. Personally, I didn't think the screen or additional cooler size of the master ice version was worth the price or hassle of dealing with the gargantuan size and weight, so I'm happy this is a non-issue. I really only have one gripe, being I wish they would have included a white power connector. Considering the price, warranty and hazard issues surrounding 3rd party cables, and the fact that it isn't something most will have from their psu, I think it should be included when paying the additional premium for a white card. This card would be a definite upgrade for anyone coming from a 30 series card or earlier. It's an absolute beast for 2k gaming and I can't wait to try it with a 4k monitor in the future.

This is by far one of the most sleek white/silver GPU you can get for a white theme pc. Coming from the RTX 3080Ti, this 5080 runs cooler, under 60c under load and around 240w~290 of power, powerful yet efficient it is perfect for 1440p gaming (Im using an LG 45” OLED monitor). The only downside to this is even bestbuy is selling this above its MSRP of $1,260. If anyone from 3000-Series is reading this undecided whether its worth the upgrade, yes it is. It is more efficient, and powerful enough to run games at high texture resolution and above 150FPS in 1440p display resolutions, paired with the new DLSS everything is crips, smooth and lag free. If youre thinking abojt waiting for the 5080Super / Ti variant with 24GB VRAM, 16Gb is more than enough for 1080p and 1440p (2K) gaming, also factor in the possibility that the Super variant may not be released or wont be until late 2025 or early 2026, with a possibility of higher pricetag and import tariff uncertainty.

Best looking white gpu so far imo. Runs 1440p flawlessly and even cyberpunk at 4k with everything but pathtracing maxed out with 60+fps. SFF has not caused any thermal issues. Only downside is the price.

Have had this card for about a week now. Initial impression is very good. Easily getting 4k >120fps high/ultra settings in each game ive tested so far. Highest temp ive seen so far is 67C. Looks amazing too if you have a white themed build.

Insanely fast card. Beautiful look. Perfect for 1440p gaming for any game, if you have the money for this card it's 100% worth it. Slightly overclocked already and never has issues temp wise or handling any game.

One of the few SFF cards available in white to match white builds, great performance and relatively quiet.

Great card, can run games decently well with DLSS4 and frame generation if needed. Looks wonderful in my pc

Upgraded from a 3070 and the 5080 is just so noticeable in difference I had gotten a new monitor and it to big and didn't fit correct so got the upgrade and the smoothest it runs at ultra while gaming is excellent. Have not had issues. Only negative which isn't really that much is the lighting features aren't that great

Great GPU, the small form factor wheeled with my case perfectly. Runs cool and quiet. Just wish MSRP would drop a little bit.
Enthusiast card that runs like a 4090 after over clock. If you’re not willing to spend the time, look into a 5070ti.

Works great, big step up from the 2080 but well worth it.

Upgraded to this card from the MSI 5080 just for the sake of matching my white PC build. However, this definitely cools better than the MSI, and in my opinion looks a lot more like anhigh end card. Overclocks beautifully and looks fantastic for 4k gaming.

smaller than a normal 5080 so it can fit in more cases but the fans run more often so it can get louder when pushed. a small step up from my 4080 but no decent cards unless you spend $3000 or more

I bought this for someone else. Although it's hefty on the price, but still worth the money. I have the previous generation and the upgrade will convince me to get one for myself. With a new build to go with it as well. Look forward to the refresh.

It's a great GPU, but with the price hikes, it's honestly really not worth the price to performance.

Great performance, Frame Gen works like a charm. I’m able to maximize my 240hz monitor on 1440p on even the most taxing games.

Great GPU overall with exception of the price for the vram you get.
