The camera works very well with great image quality; however, I was unaware of the high monthly costs to store the footage. Nowhere on the packaging dose it mention, that after 30 days, I would have to pay to save the footage. Now I'm stuck with this camera, that I can't even use, unless I pay the monthly fee. For $200+, I should at least have 5 gigs free, to store the footage, then I can rinse and repeat.

Added this camera to my existing Nest account in less than a minute. Pretty happy with the night mode so far. Has a neat feature of alerting you when there is motion detected by the camera and with one click on the iPhone notification the app takes you into the camera and shows what triggered it.

I did a lot of research before I bought it and I went to Best Buy and I purchased nest camera since then I'm connected with my dog every day and I talk to him through the nest cam and it's worth the money I spent

I added this Nest security camera to my Nest account since my (1st) Dropcam helped me won a case against the NYC’s Department of Sanitation. We got hit with ($100) violations from the NYC’s DOS because they claimed we illegally placed an electronic appliance on our sidewalk. But with the help of our Nest Cam video subscription plan. I was able to pull out the video clips the date of the claimed violation. The video clips were my evidence that we did not violate the NYC DOS environmental rules or regulations on that date. I preferred the cloud storage subscription plan over the local hard drive storage management. Less headache. "Set it, and forget it." Easy setup. Great 24/7 security camera. Excellent night vision coverage. It makes a terrific door peephole camera. Make sure you upgrade your Internet speed plan. Plus the camera spot requires a strong WiFi signal. We upgraded to Google WiFi wireless router for better WiFi and video support. It is a great investment for your home security.

Very well made, the quality is absolutely top notch. The image quality is acceptable on mobile devices, I will have to check the downloaded quality later. The Nest app works great and I would always know when my cat enters my study room through push notification.
