When I first bought my 2 Outdoor Google Nest Camera, it came with a kit for mounting the Camera to the wall. Since I hadn't planned on using it as an outdoor camera, but indoors, I didn't want to mount it to the wall, making a hole in a home I don't own. When I look around, I found this stand which is perfect for my purpose. Much better than the mounting kit. This should have been part of the package, but I'm glad I got it. I didn't want to buy a 3rd party item since I couldn't guarantee it's compatibility.

A very handy Nest Camera Stand! If you have the a Google Nest Camera of the current Gen-2, this stand is perfect for a fast table-top setup. It includes a built in power module with a nice length cord. It allows for a 90 degree mount in respect to a flat surface with a nice amount of upward tilting. Really handy for the newer Nest Cameras

Useful for keeping your camera charged and the cord is long. Gravity fit, so not really for attaching to walls, but on top of an endtable or shelf is fine. Fairly heavy base.

This is definitely a required accessory for the battery-powered Nest Cams if you want to use it indoors, but I just wish the cameras had a deeper 'pocket' to attach this onto. The camera is HEAVY and when we placed it onto the stand and put the stand on a shelf, I kept thinking how easily it could knock off if bumped, and drop on someone's toe. Didn't seem a 100% secure fit

We bought a replacement to bring one of our outside cameras inside, and this works perfect! Keeps the camera charged, and on. Super easy set up (Literally just plug in and go).

I like this stand for my camera. Probably wouldn't have needed it as the camera comes with a stand but it is a nice option.
