A: I always get unlocked phones (I tend to move carriers based on price) and I have not had a problem with any Pixel in this regard. I currently have an unlocked Pixel 7 on Google Fi (on the T-Mobile network), a Pixel 4 on AT&T, and an unlocked iPhone 13 Mini on Verizon. AT&T and Verizon have a provisioning process to bring your phone on to their networks (so you just can't slap in the SIM card - you have to contact them), but T-Mobile takes most unlocked phones that have their SIM. Your carrier will usually charge you a nominal fee for the SIM card. However, this phone will take an eSIM, so you have that option which is usually free.
Q: Will this be a good upgrade from a oneplus 7?
A: I upgraded from a 7T and am really happy with it. The 5G, wireless charging, and a camera that blows OnePlus out of the water are great. I do miss the Warp charging, but this one does well enough with a 30 watt charger or set it one a wireless pad on a desk (I do at work)
Q: Will it charge wirelesly? And can it tap to pay? Thanks in adavance.
A: Yes, to both.
A: So far I have never ended the day with less than 30 percent. That's watching movies and playing games.
A: 8 gb
A: You can just put your AT&T SIM card into the phone to "activate" it. In this modern age, "activation" basically means putting the SIM card into the phone, turning on the phone, and having the phone joining/running on the carrier network -- the phone should auto configure everything. You absolutely can switch to a different carrier and put in a different SIM card. Activation should not lock any unlocked phone into AT&T, or any carrier.

I got this phone for my fiance with a trade-in for my Pixel 4. So far, nothing is wrong with the phone. It has : 1. good battery life which lasts all day 2. amazing photos and videos 3. good durability (I have a screen protector and a clear case) 4. apps open and perform pretty well (I don't really do any gaming on the phone so there's no heating issues) 5. cellular/wifi connectivity has been good and I have not noticed any connection issues

This phone is an amazing value. Smooth, fast, no major bugs or issues. Battery life performance on 5g could be better but it gets me through a full day. Battery performance on wifi is fantastic. It takes amazing photos.

The Pixel series has always offered lower prices that proves attractive, however, there’s plenty else to like it's reliably & you're going to have a very similar experiences, since the software is so consistent. We also get software upgrades on a regular basis making much secure than other offerings by Samsung. The Pixel 7’s photographic smarts make it one of the best choices around for the Tik Tok, Instagrammers crowd and the huge battery life boost is a welcome improvement as well. If you want a flagship but don’t want to pay flagship prices, this is the phone to get. Overall navigation is smoother than the Pixel 6 I had with a better finger sensor on this model but still not as good as a Samsung. Since I really don't use the finger option & just log in with Face ID not really an issue for me.
