I use a GoPro for random shots both for content creation and like a dashcam for evidence during cycling. I only use Linear because I don't like the fisheye effect but it limits the field of view. When I saw the Anamorphic lens was finally available I wanted one so I could get wider angles without resorting to the wider settings. The additional "cinematic" feel is a nice addition for some content creation purposes too. In my initial testing I'm a bit indecisive of whether to stick with the base lens or keep using this. It does give a nice wide angle when using Ultra Linear but the overall footage is less sharp especially at the edges. A bit of warning, if the lens flare is what you're going for it looks better under Wide settings because the flare is straight but you deal with fisheye. If you go with Linear or Ultra Linear for unwarped footage the lens flare is curved. I'll keep testing but you really need to want it for the price of this lens.

This lens mod adds a really unique look to GoPro footage. If you want something that feels less like standard action cam video and more like a cinematic shot, this does a great job of changing the character of the image. The wider movie-style framing and overall feel make footage look more intentional and polished. I like that it gives the HERO13 a more creative edge without making things overly complicated. It is a fun accessory for anyone who wants to experiment beyond the usual action camera look. Landscape shots, driving footage, and stylized motion clips all benefit from it. It is obviously more specialized than a standard lens option, so this is not the kind of accessory everyone will need, but for creators who actually want that anamorphic look, it is a very cool tool to have in the bag.

Much better than 3rd party anamorphic lens - little sign of edge distortion. I use it with my GoPro Hero 13. The GoPro detects the lens automatically sets the aspect ratio, End results are very professional looking. A bit expensive - but hopefully works with future generations of GoPro's.

I am a realtor and use this lens almost exclusively for my interior video shoots. I can open up the interior of any house without worry of the fisheye effect. It makes shooting scrunched places so much easier, and it looks amazing combined with cinematic camera work . I can even live with the soft edges, which are definitely present. Where else can you get this look without spending major cash? This is a win for gopro. Remember, this will ONLY fit a gopro 13. It's not compatible with any other model.

Lens was sold out, but just came back available. The anamorphic is spectacular. Plus a more gentle lens flare. Love it.

It is a great tool to use on your GoPro Hero 13 since it is for aspiring filmmakers like me. It makes the shots feel cinematic with this lens for your GoPro. I highly recommend this if you want to make films or anything else!

It is very good lens for an action cam. the rays are just curved. and need to make sure that the lens is clean. for your video will be ruined even for small spacs of dusts. especially if it hits light rays. But still good lens for that cinematic effect and light rays.

Use this lens for social media purposes. To make my clips look more cinematic with anamorphic lens.

very good！I've used the lens for a few days and it feels pretty good! The only problem is that there is some ghosting when the lens is facing the light! Otherwise I like it
