This power cable and door work really nice and keep the inside dry when wet. Power cable only attaches in one direction with the cord facing the back of the camera. You can’t flip it the other way. Although you get some of the same quirks as using the ISB pass thru door like the camera thinking the battery is dead and a couple more. Overall it’s much handier than the USB pass thru.

I recommend to get it since it’s easier to charge or even sink to your devices. For. Have to be worrying about opening the door every time. You can even use it with out a batter and just use external battery.

Bought this to plug in a bigger portable battery to do a timelapse of the milky way. I was not disappointed! This worked perfectly.

The purchase from Best Buy is so flawless and i got it on time perfectly.

I used it for a day and then switched to the mic housing adapter but i loved and did not return this door. Im unsure at the moment if i actually needed it aside from ease of use. I wish i could just get a body case for the gopro 13 so i could just use that instead of the media mod. At the time of purchase they only sold one for the hero. I had also purchase a volta. It malfunctioned and i returned it. Is there a 30 dollar gopro body case or body case alternative to the gopro 13? I doubt it?

GoPro has excellent accessories and the magnetic charger is great for shooting time lapse videos if you don’t have the media mod. It is definitely overpriced and should’ve been included in a promotional package deal but GoPro is in business to make money!

Been waiting for this to become available magnetic is the only way to go as it keeps it waterproof and if you’re using it as a pass through power from a portable battery pack it’s also noce in event it gets snagged it will passively come off and not break the jack port.

Awesome!!! So handy to have perma-power for shooting at a moments notice. The best part is getting three cords so you can move the camera around easily, like when you’re editing and need power to upload the media to GoPro cloud.

Keeps the camera going without having to worry about the battery dying. The magnetic connections is a huge convenience. Worth every penny

Invaluable! A must have! This works great. Makes it so convenient. Only thing is it is hard to get out of the clear case. But a small price to pay for having it charge the battery.

My favorite go pro accessory. Got water damage on my first gopro because of the annoyed default door. This makes is so i barely have to open the compartment anymore
