Just a great addition to the go pro. Id even say it is must have.

It does what it should but no touch screen on it, and it has it's own internal battery that isn't great. Im split on this product. Waited so long for it to finally come out and it's just ok. In the end it's just one more thing to keep track of/battery to manage and keep charged.

This items is a great accessory for this go pro. The only con that i don’t like. When you connect it and the screen turns on it turns off then go pro screen so you can’t have both screens on at the same time.

This is a "must have" addition for your GoPro Hero 8, especially if you are using your GoPro for filming yourself (selfie mode) and for doing interviews. You no longer have to do a couple of test video clips to get yourself in the frame correctly, you simply look at this screen and see what your GoPro is filming. This is a huge upgrade for your GoPro 8! The only downside is that you HAVE to use the GoPro Media Mod in order for this to work. Place your GoPro 8 in the Media Mod, snap this Display Mod into the cold shoe on the Media Mod, plug it into the Media Mods inlet, then push the power button.... It's that easy! This Display Mod has its own battery so it doesn't use your GoPro's battery.... and it's battery life is certainly longer than the GoPro's battery life. The screen is plenty bright, perfectly sized, and is incredibly clear! The Display Mod also comes with a hard shell protective case to store it in so it doesn't get damaged when not in use. As soon as you open it for the first time, connect the supplied USB to micro USB cable to it and charge it up before use. Both of mine were fully charged within 20 minutes. I've had one in my GoPro case for 2 months now, I pulled it out a few days ago to use it and to my surprise, it was at 100% battery charge! Yes I absolutely love this mod! GoPro done their homework on this one!

I’m a big GoPro fan. I’ve been waiting for the Display Mod to be available in Best Buy stores. I finally got one and it works great. It helps me to be more creative Video taping and taking pictures.

Bought online from return item. But it came with missing charger able. Works fine. I just use my own cable.

I have this attached to the GoPro Hero8. This is a crisp monitor. I would recommend using the GoPro Media Mod. One cannot control settings from this screen. I would prefer that both this display and the monitor on the back of the camera both worked at the same time. I do like how, when used with the Media Mod, the Display folds down behind the camera.

Does the minimum you would expect, provides a front facing display... Not a touch screen though. If you need to adjust settings you have to shut it off for the built in display to be usable. If you've got an older GoPro (8 & prior), it works. If concidering a new GoPro, just go with the 9 or 10.

we love this gopro and use it for many videos! I mainly use it for dog videos.

Works fairly well. No problems so far. Works as described. Screen is clear.

Love the quality of videos it produces. Definitely one of the better purchases I’ve made. I was able to capture my vacation as well everyday life events without flaw. I’ll upgrade at some point but for now it does everything I need it to!

Works as advertised but read the details. Cannot control settings from this screen and either camera or this screen is on at a time. Both are not on at the same time. Has it’s uses.

Not bad and does what I want but you do have to charge it and you need the other mod to utilize this. I ended up having to invest in a decent amount for an older go pro to get these features. That’s what I didn’t like but overall it works

This is another accessories for my GoPro 8 Black that help me a lot doing some vlog where you can see you how it looks like your contents! For me, if you are doing some vlog, this is a must buy!
