Pros: After using the GoPro HERO 13 for about a month now I can say this 1. Excellent quality of video in daytime. Crisp and clear video quality resolution. 2. Audio is excellent the built in microphone does a great job of recording audio clearly with out distortion. 3. Light weight and portable I filmed a local event and amongst the many videos I took the longest shot was about 30 mins and my arm never got tired. 4. The battery from the Go Pro alone was insane I recorded for a good while and barely hit 80% battery life and im talking about a good 3+ hours but less than 4 hours were I periodically recorded video clips ranging from different time lengths from 5 mins to 30 mins being the longest average recording time I would say about 12 mins. 5. The additional batter pack/ tripod is very well made and has a great ergonomic desgin being able to hold the Go Pro for a good while without getting tired. 6. The light that comes with it was probably the one that surprised me the most even though it is small do not underestimate its brightness I got several complaints from the crowd that the light was TOO bright LOL now it wont light up a forest but in close range you have decent lighting for such a small led light. 7. Front facing screen really helps to know where you are filming if you are doing a selfie type of video shoot or like a vlog. CONS: 1. My biggest issue is Noise grain in the video quality now I AM NO EXPERT nor am i a video professional im just a guy who likes to film stuff and make my own videos but I can say at night time you can definitely see the grainy videos. Perhaps I need some video editing training to be able to remove the grain in my videos but yes the noise grain is clearly visibli AT NIGHT ! 2. The LED light battery drain really fast. I know its a small light and well small light small battery especially for the power that this thing shines at the battery died pretty fast in the 3+ hours I filmed the light lasted about 1 hour now mind you I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL so I dont know what is a good amount of time for a light of this capacity to run for . 3. Instructions. This one is for the Go Pro Team, guys please place instructions on how to mount the light and YOU BUYE BEWARE. Watch a video on how to properly mount you light because I mounted mine BACKWARDS and the one way safety lock got stuck and it was EXTREMELY and I mean EXTREMELY !!!!!!!!!!! difficult to release so please becareful with though or your in for a world of headached. 4.Case comes with a cardboard thing i dont know the proper word to name it but basically its where you place all your gear in your case and well its flimsy and its not that great of quality so maybe Go Pro put some foam next time. 5. Setting in the camera are hard to find you have to swipe down on the screen like a phone to be able to access the Go Pro Settings maybe this one was my fault maybe i didnt read the instructions correctly. 6. Screen doesnt stay on when recording. I know that that feature is to save batter but I wish you could leave the screen on permanently but you cant i think the longest it remains on is for about 15 minutes and then shuts off. Made me feel as if the Go Pro wasnt recording but it was i continues to record just makes you think its not . Well thats my review I hope it helps with your purchase thank you I have no regrets buying this Go Pro I always wanted one and I finally was able to purchase one. If you buy one remember dont take it to seriously and go and have some FUN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This GoPro has been an absolute win for quick content. The image quality is sharp, stabilization is insanely good, and it handles movement like a champ whether I’m walking, driving, or filming action. I needed a new GoPro for my moto vlogs to get different angles, I already have a 13 so I know it’s an awesome camera, but this set helps so much. I live the handle for when I need to prop up my GoPro, the mic sounds awesome! The light is awesome for night time videos as the GoPro isn’t the best in dark settings.’if you’re going to get a GoPro 13, save up a little more and buy this bundle, definitely worth the extra buck!! The case is also great for all my GoPro accessories!

i loved the go pro, i just wanted something i could film myself doing hobbies that i like . i like how if you purchase the kit, it comes with all the accessories you need like the tripod and light pad . only thing i didn’t like is that the go pro gets really hot when it records for awhile .

Excellent Audio from the microphone. If you have the subject in frame it will pick up clear audio no problem while canceling other noise out. The volta is a good tripod and battery extender. The media mod light is small but powerful for its size. Highly recommend getting the hero 13 creator edition bundle! I use it every day.

Difficult to write a review with mixed observations. The Hero 13 gets six stars. Stability is excellent and the video and photo qualities are excellent and adjustable to specific scenes. The camera and the Volta without the case is an excellent combination giving remote capability and extended functionality. However.... GoPro did not consider the Media Mod case and Votla cable. The cable plug attaches to the Media case vertically rather than the usual horizontal connection. The cable spring tension puts torque on the connector and eventually twists the connector assembly apart and may cause a short damaging the Volta, camera or both. GoPro tech support is email driven and more interested in warranty verification than problem solving.

I purchased the HERO13 Black Creator Edition to replace my old HERO5. Out of the box the camera looks great, and the whole package with the included accessories seemed worth the price tag. Then I tried setting it up. The instructions are not at all helpful beyond the very basics. Online was no different. I'm not a tech guru, but I'm also not a noob. The process was frustrating to say the least. I finally got everything set and ready for use. I primarily use my GoPro to record gigs for some local bands. I've never had an issue with my HERO5. My brand new HERO13 Black Creator Edition? A different story... I had it attached to the included Volta Battery Grip + Tripod, which was clamped behind the stage to get crowd shots. Again, something I've done many times before with no issue. The camera kept shutting down due to overheating. Being at the back of the stage there was little I could do until the band took a break. After resetting it twice due to overheating I swapped it out with my trusty old HERO5. Online support gave me some solutions that I have yet to try. I hope they work...

So nice, its pretty big, water proof, soo useful for vlogs.

It's super fancy I love the way it tilts backwards and forwards and gets up and down very good The display is wonderful it's a beautiful piece of equipment I love it

The Camera overheated in 30 minutes making the Volta Battery grip unusable (got error), you cannot use the Volta grip buttons with the Media Mod housing on and you have to have a go pro account to use as a streaming camera. And oh by the way. It only acts as a auxillary camera to your mobile device. So youtube treats your camera as a mobille device and you cannot use the camera while plugged in. For the money, it does not perfom better than my phone. Only if you really need the waterproof features does it serve a purpose.
