I make videos racing around different race tracks and have been using external mics to get clear, wind-free recordings of the exhaust. The most annoying part about filming that way is that I have to sync the audio in post which is a huge headache and can take anywhere from 20 minutes to over an hour. With the media mod, I can record audio with my Rode Wireless Pros, plug the receiver into the media mod, and bake that rode audio into the GoPro footage. This has saved me countless hours and has made the media mod an essential part of my film kit. 10000% recommend for any car CCs looking for similar solutions.

Audio quality was great, it turned to gopro into a mini production rig. I only wished the gopro hero 9 would actually work as intended. Note: is not water proof, it can cancel a light rain but not under water or heavy fall.

Media mod for GoPro 12 , needed to view my footage in my tv . Very convenient as I can watch content from my hero 12 black , you just need to buy a micro hdmi to plug to your tv and GoPro . Highly recommended you can even charge your GoPro while using it .

This product worked like a charm. I had a shoot coming up out of state and didn't want to carry a lot of equipment so I purchased it to help with my audio sine I would be conducting interviews. The shotgun mic was clutch and having the option to connect more mics was priceless and perfect for my on the run shoot. Perfect crisp quality audio!

Adds whole new capabilities to the camera, while also allowing use of all of its features. I’m a student pilot and having the Mic in jack lets me record cockpit audio, great for recording my flights for later review. Having the light mount is also great cause I can now use it to record better lit footage as well

The sounds is better now. I can make better videos because of that. For better results, you may want to buy an external mic as well.

Very satisfied with my GoPro - Media Mod (HERO12 Black/HERO11 purchase. The salesperson did a great job presenting the camera and it's features. I am a novice and I have find it easy to use and the learning is intuitive! Definitely recommend!

So glad I bought this for my GoPro Hero 9 Black. I use to get background noise during my trips while vlogging into my gopro but that has reduced quite significantly, thanks to this mod. I wish it didn't fit so tight and displace my existing tempered glass though.

It's good but ok it's ok for vlogging but when the camera not on does not sound clear and it's a lot of money
