About this product
Vinyl LP pressing. Named in honor of a giant Mooninite that appeared in Aqua Teen Hunger Force, North Dakota's, Gorgatron, have been turning a lot of heads in the last few years, but these maniacs have been creating crushing death metal since they independently released their debut album, Torturtorium, back in 2010. After some line-up changes, the band self-released sophomore album, Inner Supremacy, in 2015, but it wasn't until the lead up for their 2020 breakout album, Pathogenic Automation, that they began to tour relentlessly, booking DIY runs all around the Midwest. Pathogenic Automation was released through Nuclear Blast's Bloodblast Distribution and received acclaim worldwide. Metal Injection described it as Suffocation-style riff madness, blastbeats, throat-tear from Karl Schmidt = significant synapse destruction here. Continuing their momentum with the 2022 EP, Agony Reborn, once again via Nuclear Blast/BloodBlast Distribution, the band toured 18 countries in support of the . In regards to the EP, No Clean Singing wrote Prepare for a high-speed battering, coupled with riffing that brays in maddened tones and jitters and squirms in a different manifestation of lunacy, one that seems... insectile. Gorgatron's 4th LP, Sentience Revoked, continues their upward trajectory of brutality and riff mastery. The album is a non-stop aural assault of top quality choice USDM from the beating heart of the US. Elements of tech and brutal death metal are abound, but in clever spurts that never pigeonhole the band to any particular micro-subgenre. Sentience Revoked see the band at their deadliest and most savage and 2024 will see the band spread their pummeling brand of USDM even further across the globe!

Arizona newcomers Gatecreeper deliver 9 monstrous songs of low-end, old-school death metal on their savage debut album 'Sonoran Depravation'. Having devastated the underground since their formation less than three years ago, Gatecreeper now unleash their first full-length, produced by Ryan Bram at Homewrecker Studios and mixed by Kurt Ballou (Converge, Nails, Black Breath) at God City Studios. 'Sonoran Depravation' tears and chugs through 30+ minutes of crusty, doom-soaked death metal at it's most infectious and uncompromising with a massive sound that calls to mind the classic Swedish buzz-saw attack of Dismember and Grave mixed with the impeccable groove of Obituary and Bolt Thrower. Gatecreeper are here to carry the death metal torch for a new generation and will shake your foundation to it's core. Vinyl LP pressing. Album Tracks 1. Craving Flesh 2. Sterilized 3. Desperation 4. Vinyl LP pressing. 2020 . From the mastermind of Dutch multi-instrumentalist Arjen Lucassen, Transitus is inspired by supernatural movies such as The Others, The Changeling and Ghost along with the music of soundtrack composers John Carpenter (Halloween), Ennio Morricone (Once upon a Time in the West) and Jerry Goldsmith (Omen). Transitus is narrated by one of the most iconic and recognizable voices in sci-fi history, most known from his eight-year stint as Doctor Who, Tom Baker. As with any Ayreon album, it is an explosive and expansive affair and features Tommy Karevik (Kamelot) as Daniel and Cammie Gilbert (Oceans of Slumber) as Abby. The all-star cast also features Simone Simons (Epica), Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), Joe Satriani, Marty Friedman, Johanne James (Threshold), Noa Gruman (Scardust), Marcela Bovio (MaYan), Caroline Westendorp (The Charm The Fury), Paul Manzi (Arena), Michael Mills (Toehider) and Amanda Somerville (Avantasia, Trillium) amongst many others.
