I bought this arrived package damage!!! And I designed to keep it just because let give a try, running good for FIRST DAY! And scones days THE BERRY DIE SO FAST WHICH IN 5 MINUTES total distant!!!!! I didn’t go to store return because I live far!

I was excited to receive the GoLabs XR LITE Commuting Electric Scooter, as soon as it arrived, I had it charging ready to go. I need to preface that I have other Go Trax Scooter models and they are so much fun, so I had no hesitation ordering this XR Lite model for my son. The specs on the box suggest that this will be a decent scooter, 12 mph top speed, 5 mile range, 5 hour charging, air filled tires, all very common features - the speed and range were a little lower than my previous scooters, but being an XR 'Lite' model, I expected that. Well, after charging it for the first time, yes, it did take about 5 hours to charge, I went down my driveway and headed up the street. First thing I noticed was how jarring the ride was. Every bump, every join of the concrete pavement vibrated through the handle of the scooter. This scooter has solid rubber tires, and not the 5.6" air filled tires it mentions on the box. That vibration goes all the way through the scooter and makes it shake and rattle, making it very uncomfortable to ride, especially compared to previous models. Let's go on to the top speed - I live at the top of a very low angle hill, but something perfect to ride down and pick up momentum. I am about 215lbs, within it's weight threshold, and even going downhill, I was not able to achieve the max top speed of the scooter. I got up to 11.6 mph and that was it. Range - literally, what range. From a full charge, I got nowhere near 5 miles out of it. I went around the block twice, and up and down the street about 5 times. My son rode on it for a short distance, we would be lucky if we even went two miles, let alone five miles. The battery indicator has 4 segments on it, and as soon as it got down to the last segment, the scooter went into a 'limp' mode, and would not go above 3 mph, slowing down all the way until I was able to roll back up to my driveway. The braking - the previous Go Trax scooters I have utilize a standard brake lever, and a disc brake system. This scooter while it claims to have a mechanical brake, has a lever like the accelerator lever, and it doesn't feel intuitive or give you confidence in the braking. Made me nervous having my son ride it. Features - It has a nice fold away design, where you can release a lever, clip the handle into the rear splash guard and carry it. It isn't that heavy, so easy to carry around. It has an LED headlight that you can turn on and off with a single press of the power button. It has a rubber grip mat on it to ensure you won't slip off easily - however, ours was not installed correctly and had a large air bubble in it. Overall, I wanted so much to like this scooter so the whole family can go out together and ride for a while, but with its harsh ride on those solid tires, poor range, poor battery life and so-so top speed, this scooter really is very disappointing.

This scooter does not drive on gravel or grass. It takes a long time for a full charge. Charge time is not very long if you go full speed. Again, only drives on smooth concrete and pavements.
