A: I bought this for my husband and he said it works great. It's working with SiriusXM just fine and he's had no problems with it.
Q: How does this works? Does my current subscription work?
A: Yes. It uses your existing SiriusXM internet subscription, you do not need to add another radio to your account. It has all of the internet channels in a convenient radio format. However, just like listening online, after awhile, it asks if you are still listening and you need to confirm. I got mine about a month ago and love it! Got one for the house and one for the office.
Q: Can you stream other sites like Pandora? Or is it strictly dedicated to Sirius channels?
A: No you can only stream Sirius music channels. You also need to have an online subscription to Sirius which is different then the car subscription.
Q: Will it stop the music after a certain period of time and ask "Are you still listening?"
A: Yes, this is something SiriusXM does on consumer accounts. The only account that does not do this is Business accounts.
Q: Does this have HD ? I know if the car stereo has HD they get extra channels.
A: This radio does not have HD. It is a wifi radio for SiriusXM internet radio listeners. Your channel lineup will be the same as if you were to log in on the app or the online interface. You need Internet listening account through SiriusXM to use this radio.
Q: Can I but is Santa Maria store? Is this a WiFi radio?
A: Yes this is a WiFi Radio. Setup was very easy took me about 10 minutes from start to finish before I was able to stream Sirius, which also included updating the system.
