Great power but would expect a longer run time, especially from an 80v. Maybe why others use 20v. Not sure if more is better in this scenario, but love not being bound by a 50ft cord so i still recommend

Nothing special about this 2 amp battery. It does have LEDs to show you how much charge is left - you have to push a button. The reason I would not recommend is that 2 amps does not last.

The battery I received does not seem to be recharging. The recharging station works (it makes a whirling sound when a different battery is in place). The second battery just has no indicator lights on or indicator lights when in the mower

The battery lasts long. I am overall happy with the charging time and performance. The weight is a bit on the higher end.

Came "free" when buying a Greenworks snowblower as an additional battery (came like usual with a 4 amp hour battery, but they gave me a 'bonus' 2.0 amp hour battery as a promotional add-on). Can't complain about that! This 2 amp hour battery will almost do a three lane driveway (30 feet long). They re-charge super quick (about 20 minutes), so it's nice to have a spare so you can keep on working...

Excellent buy. It has a long charge, which is more than enough to get the job done. I am 67, so it is a little heavy, but it makes short work of whatever device I use it in, whether a Green Works mower, weed eater, or blower. I am very happy with this Bestbuy purchase.

Having an extra battery (or two) makes a HUGE difference when using these 80v greenworks power tools. They charge pretty quickly so having an extra battery ensures there's almost no disruption in your work when the battery you're using dies.

Bought this as a replacement for one of my original 1st gen 80v batteries. I wasn't sure it would fit the 1st gen tools with the new case dedign, but it does fit and works fine. Got 5 years out of the original battery. Hopefully this one can do the same.

The first thing I had to learn about the Greenworks 80 Volt (V) 2.0AH (Amp Hours) was what Volt and Amp Hours were - Volts is how much juice the battery can push out into the device, and Amp Hours is how long it can push that juice from fully charged to charge again. Greenworks batteries range from 2.0 AH to 8.0 AH. depending on how much power is needed for the tool type. Some products take multiple batteries, while others take only one. and small products need less AH than the bigger ones like lawnmowers. Be sure to look at the product specs to determine which battery is needed for each product so you can get the right battery for each device. This product when compared to other models is physically ligher but offers a shorter run time. It recharges quickly, in about 30 minute. It shares the same formeatures as the Greenworks - 80 Volt 4.0 AH Battery and can be charged in the same dock. I appreciated the rubber grips on the upper/ lower on the top and bottom of the outside edge of the battery to make it easier to grip when putting in and pulling out of tools. I appreciated the way the batteries can be swapped on the go with little or no downtime between. It is easy to grip and slip out of the charging dock as well, which can sit on the table or be mounted to the wall for up and out of the way use. The the battery charge indicater LED display is user-facing, and operated by the push of a button. No need to take off gloves or stop to check. You'll know in just a moment how much juice is left and when I'm in the groove, I like that there's no guesswork. One simple button tells me if I'm ready to go for the next job, or if the battery needs a top off. I would recommend picking up an additional charging dock and an additional battery or two if the products you have don't come with enough to have one charging while one is being used. I’ve been using the Greenworks 80V battery with several of their tools, and it has exceeded my expectations. The run time is incredible- I can get through my entire yard without needing a second charge. It charges faster than I expected , and the power output stays strong right until the battery runs out.
