This trimmer made short work out of all the wild honeysuckle and grape vines invading my yard! It sliced right through it like a hot knife through butter. I am short, 5'2", I had no problems with it at all. And the way you can adjust the handle to switch the blade direction is fantastic. This was a great purchase! It's going to save me hours of time and labor. I didn't even come close to running the battery down. I highly recommend it!

Works great. Sure beats a gas powered trimmer. Just snap on the battery and start trimming.

This is THE BEST battery operated hedge shears i have evre used. Worth every penny, and battery seems to last forever and charges back to full charg in o time!!!!!

I have mixed ratings because the item arrived missing a battery and all the manuals and paperwork. I lost about 2 hours of my time because i had to call Greenworks, quickest option for me and they ended up ordering me a manual and replacement battery. Overall i am very happy with all of my Greenworks products but BestBuy has let me down again. I feel the item i received was a customer returned. slightly dissapointed with BB.

Needed a trimmer for three large box shrubs with thick branches that my old corded electric hedge trimmer couldn't handle. I was skeptical of this trimmer's capabilities/power however the reviews were good and I really liked the idea of getting a cordless. It luckily was on sale when I decided to buy it and am very pleased to report it has performed flawlessly at powering through my shrubs. I didn't expect it to be as big a unit as it is but, thankfully, found it agile enough in use. I own a 20v string trimmer, 20v blower and a 24v electric snow shovel, all of which work well but, after using batteries of these sizes, I was astounded by the size of this unit's 80v battery. Its a monster and the charger is even bigger. I've also never had a battery so large and powerful that it requires a charger with an internal fan to cool things down as the battery charges. As stated, the trimmer is large and is also fairly heavy with the battery installed but, I'm 71 years old and, though it was somewhat taxing when my arms had to be extended, I found it manageable to use overall. The blades start out slow but ramp up quickly and I was amazed at how it powered through even the thicker branches. I also found the ability to rotate the handle for horizontal/vertical orientation to be an excellent and useful feature. The battery shows three green lights when fully charged and, after trimming my three shrubs at one per day, two lights were lit when I was done, impressive. So I purchased this trimmer at a very good sale price, received it quickly (two days) and am delighted with it's capabilities ... I wish all my experiences were this good! Absolutely recommend to anyone wanting a powerful cordless trimmer.

Great little hedger trimmer. I've had Greenworks products for years now and I wanted to add a little more power to my current selection. I saw this trimmer and gave it a try. It is pretty balanced and it powers through mostly everything. The portablility is a plus allowing me to not have to be tethered to an outlet. Gas products are a no go for me at my home since my wife is sensitive to everything. What could be improved is the weight. I'm a bigger guy so the weight is a none factor for me but I could see it causing fatigue after prolonged usage. Lastly the battery is so far so good. Again this is a new platform for me with the 80v coming up from the 24v offering from Greenworks. I was able to get a full days job done with not much battery usage.

I love this hedger, super powerfull, battery lasts hours, super sharp, a little heavy, but overall best hedger I have ever owned.

The main reason I bought this product was to match the battery type with other Greenworks product I use. Plus, the price was very good becuase the product included an 80 volt battery. Other battery hedge trimmers do not include a battery. This trimmer works so much easier and better than hand clippers and the results looks so much better too.

This thing is a beast. A little on the heavy side (it's all Battery) but it does the job with large hedges and shrubs. On Best Buy I paid less for the entire package than the battery would cost. $99. Used it once but very happy with the build and the performance.

This hedge trimmer works very good, the blades are sharp and cut 1/2" branches with ease.

Just used this for the first time and was VERY impressed! Nice power, reasonably quiet and the blades were sharp. I wouldn't hesitate picking up this item if you are looking to go battery charged! Very happy with this purchase!

Had some overgrown heads sin the front yard and this trimmer tackled them perfectly. A+ build quality A power A++ convenience Highly recommend especially if your already in the 80v green works tools family.

This is an excellent product. The battery life is pretty good and charges really fast. It generates a lot of power and Trims so smoothly.

I love the 80V yard tools from Greenworks. Used this hedge trimmer the other day and it did a great job trimming bushes. I like the 26 inch reach.The battery lasts quite a while--a nice replacement for my corded hedger where I was always concerned about cutting my electric cord. This trimmer is light and very easy to use--just charge up the battery, insert and you are ready to use. Best buy had a great price on it-better than even buying direct from Greenworks or even from Amazon.

This thing cuts really well. I was surprised how powerful it was. I also have the 80v tiller machine, greenworks makes good products, two batteries is a good idea. I can trim most of my long hedges on one charge but 2 is ideal for convenience.

Great deal on a great trimmer...a bit concerned about weight
